Excellent location, just a few minutes' walk to the Great Buddha and many other shrines and temples. The facility was clean, and the futons were fluffy and comfortable. We had control of the AC in the room, which was great because we were melting in the 30C weather! The showers are on the second floor (two stalls, both supplied with shampoo/conditioner/body wash), but there is a toilet on both floors. One of them was right outside the door to our room (we stayed in room 5 - Camping Room), making it easy for our son to access. Our only complaint would be the noise from the room upstairs, it was hard to sleep because it sounded like they were having a wrestling match but, that isn't the Inn's fault at all and after a while everything settled into silence and we all got some well earned rest.
There is a late-night, family-friendly izakaya called "Greensward & Shibafu" right around the corner and it stays open until 21:30 (rare in Kamakura, apparently). They were very welcoming, and the food was delicious! I hightly recommened giving it a try.
