The Samurai of Kamakura is a fantastic host. His tours are excellent, though on the pricier side. The hospitality is wonderful, and the breakfast in the morning is a real highlight — a great way to meet fellow guests given the intimate nature of the guesthouse. Would absolutely book again

My dream was a spending a night in Japanese house with a traditional breakfast and I finally had this experience. I had heard about Bushi-san before, but in real life he turned out to be an even nicer person than I imagined. A lot of my friends like to travel to Japan. And now I persuade each of them to visit Kamakura, and I highly recommend everyone to stay here. It was absolutely wonderful

A very unique place; the old house feels like a dacha and a museum all at once. There are lots of antiques, books, and kimonos hanging in the room. You can look out the window from your bed. Soothing music plays downstairs. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts are delicious. When I arrived, there was no staff, but they gave me a note and check-in instructions.

The accommodation is a small, budget guesthouse. You can order dinner and breakfast. The owner is lovely and friendly. You can walk from Kamakura Station or take the bus to Kotoguin Temple conveniently. There is a Family Mart nearby.

The boss is very nice. If you have breakfast with more than two people, you can listen to the boss's English explanation and communicate with the boss. The boss is a warrior, so I was shocked when I saw him. I thought he was watching the Magic Saint Altar Fighter, but he didn't watch it. It is recommended for males to travel alone. It is not recommended for couples to live together!
