This place is an absolute gem! I was a bit worried I wouldn't like it, and staying alone in a shared room made me a little nervous. But it felt completely safe and pleasant here! The staff are wonderful! We chatted and got to know each other in the evening. Plus, I was able to meet other guests, which was really nice! My trip was definitely a success! The room was clean and spacious, and the bedding and shower were good. I loved everything and will definitely be back! 🌸🩷

More than impressive cause of the cozy vibe and wonderful people, met a sentimental girl from Portugal and impressed even if small talks

I stayed in a shared room, and it felt like sleeping in a closet. The mattress was hard, and the small 6.5-tatami room had no windows and very poor ventilation. There were two women (my travel companion and I) and two men I didn't know sharing the same room, which made me feel like safety was entirely my own responsibility. I definitely wouldn't recommend this for solo female travelers or groups of women looking for a secure stay. While the lounge was stylish, the actual sleeping area looked very different from the photos online. The atmosphere wasn't at all what I expected from the pictures, and I was honestly disappointed. For 5,000 yen, I believe I could have found a much more comfortable and cleaner hotel. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially to women, if cleanliness and comfort are important to you.

I had a nice night staying at this hostel. The room is not big but its comfy enough to sleep. Masa sensei was very helpful and kind. He recommended places, informed us about fireworks and i couldnt be more grateful. Shower works well, water fast, room is not stuffy which is a huge thing for me, the sharing space is comfortable. The bus stop is very close that directs us to kamakura station and lawson is 1 km walk so its good!! All good!

The owner speaks excellent Chinese and English, and is a wonderful person! The guesthouse is super close to the beach, and the owner provides a helpful overview of the surrounding area during check-in. It's also very near Enoden, making it incredibly convenient to get to Kamakura Koko-mae and Shichirigihama. Due to my itinerary, I didn't make it to Enoshima, but it would have been super easy to get there via Enoden! I booked a dormitory room and shared it with a German family; it was completely quiet at night as other guests were very considerate. The beds were clean and tidy, a really great experience!

This hotel has a fantastic Japanese vibe! Even though it's by the road, I thought it might be noisy at night, but it was surprisingly quiet – I slept soundly until morning. The bathroom and shower aren't private, but it was still a great experience to spend a night in such an authentic Japanese style while in Japan.

Due to various circumstances, we ended up checking in after 9 PM, but we were still warmly welcomed. The fruit liquor available to guests at the bar and the breakfast potage and salad were both delicious! After checking out, they even looked after our luggage, allowing us to explore Kamakura at our leisure. The owner was very kind, helping us find temples with the best plum blossom viewing times and bus times to Kamakura. We'll definitely stay here again.

Located about a 15-minute walk from the station, it's actually quite close to the beach, making it suitable for surfers. Coffee and tea are available in the public areas, but you'll need to bring your own toiletries such as toothbrushes.
