LACER SUITES KAMAKURA

The hotel's exterior and the breakfast area on the first floor are absolutely stunning. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was incredibly exquisite and delicious. The location is also superb, less than a 5-minute walk from the station. The only minor downside is that the room was a bit dim, but the room design was quite beautiful, with a very artistic aesthetic.

This hotel is hard to describe. The location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk from JR Kamakura Station, and its exterior is very distinctive, going for a natural, minimalist style. But it's *too* minimalist. There's no wardrobe in the room, no sofa to relax on, just a small stool, and not even a bedside lamp. I don't really care about the lack of a TV, though. It felt like I was staying in a tiny solitary confinement room. Breakfast wasn't a buffet; it was a small set meal that had to be pre-ordered, and it wasn't enough to fill me up. The service was friendly but a bit distant.

Stayed over the weekend. Didn't feel like it was great value for money, but the room design was very stylish and the decor was excellent. It was just a bit dim.

The 28 sqm must be the built-up area, right? The furniture placement was already extremely compact, and the bathroom was so cramped that one person had to be careful just to turn around. The sink was tiny, requiring us to be extra cautious. In contrast, the toilet area was slightly more spacious. Surprisingly, there was no TV in the room, which was something we found very difficult to adjust to. The hotel's location is very close to Kamakura Station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The service was good, just like in other cities in Japan. Overall, the value for money wasn't high enough.

The pros are its convenient location and peaceful environment. The cons are insufficient lighting in the room and no TV. If these two points don't bother you, it's a good value for money option, allowing you to enjoy a quiet time away from the hustle and bustle.

Clean and only a five-minute walk from Kamakura Station and Komachi-dori. The room was small with no TV, and the bed was a Japanese-style futon on the floor. The lobby is great for relaxing or working. Breakfast consisted of three types of Japanese set meals, so I'd say this accommodation is best for a maximum stay of three days.
