It was very hard to find the hotel, the maps send us to the back part because the hotel building is in the end of the lot (when you enter there is a parking lot before the build itself) so I had to walk around the block to find it while my husband waited at the car with my sleeping kid. When we arrived the staff said we could not park in that parking lot and we had to move to a partners parking close by. We only stay there for 1 night and everything else was very good.
This Sotetsu hotel is right outside Ofuna Station and very close to the Grand Ship shopping center, which houses a Life supermarket, making shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel's linen was very clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a Ueshima Coffee set meal; the grilled toast was delicious, though the coffee was just okay. From Ofuna Station, it's only a little over ten minutes by monorail to Enoshima. There's a Bookoff nearby, perfect for picking up collectibles, and right next to it is Ito-Yokado. You'll also find plenty of dining options in every direction around the hotel. Overall, if you're visiting Kamakura, staying in Ofuna is a really smart choice.
