A true hidden gem. This hotel is really pleasant, with positive staff who speak decent English. Visually, it's a feast for the eyes, a very unique experience. I enjoyed the onsens; if you time it right, you can visit both in one day (after the gender swap). My only downside was that the reception closes at night, so if you need to go outside, you can't. Most likely this is for safety, so it's understandable. I wanted to photograph the stars at night, but couldn't. :) Also, it was a bit hard to sleep at night because the hotel is 'traditional,' there was no air conditioning, and I had to fiddle with regulating the temperature by opening and closing windows. And with the windows open, you experience the full range of onsen smells. These negatives are minor; the hotel is wonderful. If I'm ever in Hokkaido again, I'd gladly return.

Delicious dinner and nicely-presented dishes. Plus, a great mountain view while enjoying the dinner. I checked out in the morning to climb Tokachidake. Really delighted to know that I could still have an onsen soak for free after the climb.

The Japanese-style rooms don't have ensuite bathrooms, but there are shared toilets, an onsen, and baths. It's accessible by car up a hill, but the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The food is delicious; dinner is a set menu, and breakfast is a buffet.

The hot springs were great. I wanted to see the starry sky, but the weather was bad, which was a shame. I'd like to stay here again.

The scenery and hot springs are amazing. It's worth the trip, even if it's far away. During the snowy season, a four-wheel drive rental car is recommended for peace of mind.

The room was excellent, but it was a standard Japanese-style room with a shared bathroom outside. I wasn't used to that at first. Everything else was superb; the view was top-notch, the hot spring was wonderful, the service was excellent, and dinner was also very good. Breakfast was rather average. The view and service were worth the price.

Very, very good, the food is delicious, especially the dinner, I was really full, it was so delicious. The hot spring is also very beautiful, the therapeutic effect should be ok. The red iron spring is so fairy. The bus up and down the mountain is also limited to free, which is a great benefit.

The hotel is located at the foot of Mt. Tokachi. It is perfect for travelers who want to climb Mt. Tokachi or Mt. Furano to stay here. The hotel's Tetsunoyu hot spring is also one of its selling points.

這是我第二次入住這家温泉旅館，感謝給我免費升級成帶廁所的雙床房！這一側的山景更開闊，樓下有一個觀景台，觀景台旁邊有徒步上山的路線。夏天和冬天是不同的感覺，完全是一個綠色的大氧吧。一場雨過後，仙霧繚繞。很幸運又看到了壯麗的晚霞！室外温泉面向鬱鬱葱葱的大山，旁邊就是山澗，雲霧中傳來潺潺流水聲。晚餐依然很用心！甚至用小黑板標明瞭食材的產地，每上一道菜，都有一個工作人員詳細講解，雖然我也聽不懂，還是被他們這種敬業的精神打動。可惜我的飯量小，還剩了不少。這次又觀察到不少細節：泡温泉的浴衣有中號和小號可以選擇，旅館在好多平台都有不錯的口碑，甚至有火山活動觀測報告，當然這個太專業了。這裏旅客基本上是日本人和西方人為主。發現一樓商店裡又上架了本温泉的入浴劑，毫不猶豫帶了20包回家。

I've taken a day trip here before, but this was my first time staying overnight. The inn is located high up at the base of the Tokachidake crater, but is easily accessible, about 30 minutes by car from downtown Kamifurano. From the inn you can see Tokachidake and Furanodake, with the Furano Basin spreading out below. This is a single inn in the mountains amid quiet nature, and the hot spring contains a lot of iron, making it the envy of hot spring lovers. The hot spring is a free-flowing hot spring with two spring qualities: a lukewarm yellow-transparent acidic iron-containing spring and a hot, dark brown iron-containing spring. The men's and women's baths are switched between night and morning.

This hot spring inn is located at an altitude of 1,280m, the highest point of Tokachidake Onsen in Kamifurano Town, and is the highest in Hokkaido. It is also a popular day-trip inn for hikers to Furanodake and Tokachidake. The hot spring is comfortable, with an open-air bath, and the food is delicious and satisfying. The night we went, the inn was under the stars. The road to the inn is a pleasant drive, and it is surprising to learn that it is open all year round.
