Radisson Resort Skiathos

Staff are lovely. Hotel is very clean. Beds needed improving as they creak all the time. Only have B and B unless the dinners are improved. Or unless you like chips every day even with the A la carte menu. It is more like a three star hotel than a four star.

Arrived and got keys to which we walked in a room still occupied? Then given another room which was not what we booked and at first they said it was ? Eventually told us they have doubled booked and it was wrong room but fully booked . Said this room €40 cheaper so we could get this back in food ? Very disappointed

Modern, clean and tidy hotel. We were happy with everything i.e. room, balcony, view, breakfast, location to beach / taverna and taxi boat into town was great. Only reason I haven’t given 5 out of 5 is for two reasons. Firstly, the area around the pool is a little unkept. There are weeds growing freely around the patio area and we were sorely tempted to start ripping out ourselves. Not very pleasing on the eye and something that could be easily fixed. Pool itself was lovely and plenty big enough for an early morning swim. Secondly, a logistical point that people should be aware of but no fault of the hotels. We stayed B&B and relied on local supermarket for essentials including fresh water. It’s only a 7-10 minute walk but it is very hilly and in the heat we struggled carrying water etc. I wouldn’t not return for this reason, maybe choose the time of day you go (early morning or late evening). Other than these 2 minor points we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the hotel and Kanapitsa. Hope to be back again one day
