Super Hotel Premier Kanazawaeki Higashiguchi

The front desk staff were incredibly kind and patient. Even though I don't speak Japanese or English, they used a translation app to explain everything, which was very helpful. I got a lot of enjoyment for such a low price. The environment was quiet and clean, offering excellent value for money. The room rate was reasonable, breakfast was delicious, and the hot spring quality was great.

The name truly lives up to its promise! This hotel is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the train station and 12 minutes from the market and Kanazawa's Golden Triangle. The staff here are incredibly responsive and helpful. Yes, the rooms are small; there's no getting around that. Trying to fit two S-sized suitcases was quite a challenge, but everything else about the hotel more than makes up for it. This was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip, and we visited 6 cities and stayed in 6 different hotels. The breakfasts are excellent, and there's 24/7 access to a water cooler on the ground floor. There are also specific times when you can enjoy coffee, tea, or even alcoholic beverages in the hotel lobby. I really liked the pillow bar, and the option to choose your own toiletries if you don't care for the ones in the room. Inside the room, you'll find tea, drip-bag coffee, a kettle, cups, a refrigerator, and essential toiletries. Pajamas and reusable slippers are also provided, which we wore around the hotel. The laundry room is fantastic, with both washing machines and dryers. The onsen, with its spring water brought in, was also a delightful surprise – perfect for relaxing after a full day of walking. Overall, the water quality in the hotel is great, leaving your hair feeling very soft. We had a family room, which was essentially two rooms connected by a door, making it very convenient. We stayed on the 9th floor and had a lovely view of the mountains. I can confidently recommend this hotel for your stay! 👍

While they champion eco-friendly practices, the amenities aren't super extensive. However, they did provide multi-blade razors and a choice of shampoo and conditioner. Being so close to the station, we could often hear the Shinkansen (bullet train) passing by.

The breakfast was incredibly generous, and the local Kanazawa rice was absolutely delicious! The room was a bit small, but having an onsen (hot spring bath) made up for it. They also have a free evening bar with a variety of local alcoholic beverages and snacks. You can even choose your own pillow! Plus, there's a great selection of skincare and bath amenities. It's a fantastic hot spring hotel chain.

Located in Kanazawa's old town, it's a quiet spot, though the rooms and public baths are on the smaller side.
