Blue Hour Kanazawa

I stayed at the Kanazawa Blue Time Hostel for six consecutive nights. After arriving at Komatsu Airport, I took the airport bus for 1300 yen directly to Kanazawa Station. From the Drum Gate (a landmark in front of Kanazawa Station), it's about a 150-meter walk to the hostel building. The hostel occupies the entire 3rd floor; there's no elevator, which might be inconvenient if you have large suitcases. The hostel's location is very convenient, a 3-minute walk to Kanazawa Station. There are various restaurants and supermarkets within the station, and you can walk to Omicho Market, Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle, the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Higashi Chaya Street, and other tourist areas. You can also buy a one-day bus pass at the Kanazawa Station Tourist Information Center to explore Kanazawa. I stayed in a female dormitory room. This area requires a password to enter, ensuring good privacy. There are seven female dorm rooms, each with a dedicated toilet and shower. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and provide face wash, shower gel, conditioner, and a hairdryer. The beds were spacious, single-level rather than bunk beds, with ample room. Each bed had a locker with a password, slippers, and a clean towel provided daily. Free Wi-Fi with a stable signal was available. The women's area also had a dedicated tea room with a kettle, microwave, and mini-fridge. Note that toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided. The shower room was small, which might feel cramped for taller individuals. My only issue was the mattress, which was too soft for my comfort. The hostel's common areas offered free coffee and tea, and the mixed dormitory area had showers, washrooms, and washing machines and dryers, making the facilities quite comprehensive. This was a great, affordable place to stay during my solo trip to Kanazawa, where I had a pleasant and enjoyable time. Kanazawa is a clean, beautiful, quaint, and charming city, and I hope to have the opportunity to visit again.

The room was considered spacious for a hostel. There was no one at the front desk and no one was there to store luggage. I couldn't find any toiletries, such as disposable toothbrushes. There was tea and coffee available for self-service.

金沢駅から5分歩く！近いかった🫶🏻 Easy to find, only 5 minutes walk from Kanazawa Station. The view and layout is amazing. Worth every penny, but if you got the upper bed, you need to be careful because the ladder is steep. Free beverages and you can use the refrigerator (they provide you with labels so you can write your name on your belongings). They provide every instruction in japanese and english so you don't need to worry. Coooooozyyyyy!
