Hotel Torifito Kanazawa

Like the design of this hotel, though it’s a pity the public bath is limited for guests with tattoos. Free shave ice is a fun bonus, and the breakfast is amazing, especially the deep fried fish and the homemade almond jelly!

The Hotel Torifito was a very attractive and comfortable home from home for our five night stay in Kanazawa. The room was a good size, well appointed with all the necessary facilities and had a fine view over the city and surrounding hills. Especially noteworthy was the superb breakfast buffet which is the best we have experienced in Japan. The hotel is ideally situated in a quiet location, only a few minutes walk from the railway station and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended all round!

Spacious, clean and well worth the money. Will stay here again if I return to Kanazawa

Location is good and convenient, hotel room is more spacious than i thought it would be, and turns out it is 乾濕分離which is good! public bath is good except the temperature indoor is too hot; hygiene so far so good

Hotel room is slightly bigger as compared to standard Japan hotel room. Location is convenient and near to the train station.

The room was nice, but the hotel staff were far too careless. The staff accudentally lost my sleepwear bra-top while cleaning my room. Since the bra-top was only for indoor use, there was no way I could have taken it out of the room. I searched through the entire room and all my luggage but couldn’t find it anywhere. They said it might have gotten tangled up in the bedsheets, but that was still far too careless. The least they could have done was check properly. Even though I communicated with the front desk in fluent Japanese, they kept shirking responsibility. They said they would let me know if they found it, and I left my email address, but I never received any follow-up before leaving Japan. I was very disappointed. I hope the staff training will be improved. 房間是不錯，但是酒店職員太不細心了！ 職員在清潔我的房間時弄丟了我的睡眠用的內衣（因為是室內用，所以沒有可能帶出房間。翻偏了整間房間和行李都沒有，說是有可能卷進被子裏，但這也太不小心了吧🫩好歹也檢查清楚！） 用流利的日文和前台溝通一直推卸責任，說找到的說就會跟我說，留了email但直到離開日本前都沒有收到跟進，感到非常失望，希望職員培訓會更加完善。 部屋自体は良かったのですが、スタッフの対応はあまりにも不注意でした。 清掃の際に、室内用の寝間着の下着を紛失されました。室内でしか使っていない物なので、自分で部屋の外に持ち出したとは考えられません。部屋の中も荷物の中も全部探しましたが、結局見つかりませんでした。 スタッフからは「シーツに紛れてしまった可能性がある」と言われましたが、だとしてもあまりに不注意だと思います。少なくとも、きちんと確認するべきだったのではないでしょうか。 私はフロントに日本語で問題なく事情を説明しましたが、責任を避けるような対応に終始され、とても残念でした。「見つかったら連絡します」と言われたのでメールアドレスも残しましたが、日本を離れるまで何の連絡もありませんでした。 とても失望しました。今後、スタッフ教育が改善されることを願っています。
