If you like bars with loud music, restaurants and as a single man going to "naughty" bars, then it is a good location. But, if you want to have a good sleep, it is a very bad location. I have got a room located towards the main strait. Music from the bars and traffic noise day and night (traffic stops around 3 am and starts at 5 am again). Get up early to make a trip to the Waterfalls not possible because you're too tired and take an extra sleep. Even getting early to the Kwai Bridge is impossible: when I arrived there, already a lot of people were there and a good photo is impossible to make with that crowd. The room is spacious, the bathroom is bigger than normal hotels have. Only an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom. Again, the door of the bathroom cannot be locked (luckily am I alone). It looks that this is a common feature of hotels to give single people a bathroom that cannot be locked, as I also had in Laos. There is no closet where you can put your belongings. It is a very basic hotel. Before entering the hotel you have to take your shoes off and put it outside, right at the brim of the fish pound. I was afraid that my shoes splash into the water. The room was cleaned a day before I left to Bangkok.

Nice guesthouse owned by a very friendly and helpful family. Very comfortable rooms, good shower. Breakfast offered in two different versions. We definitely will stay here again when we come back to Kanchanaburi

The atmosphere is wonderful. Despite it being a short one-night stay, the owner's thoughtful hospitality made it a truly enjoyable experience for us.

Friendly owner , good location

we check in late due to our early trip to the death railway. easy check in system, you just need to see the owner and can directly check in to the room. room is huge, bathroom is clean. has refrigerator too. locationwise, walkable to the night market and to the Kanchanaburi train station. from Kanchanaburi train station you have to cross the road and walk a little bit deeper to the shops area and small alley. however to go to the bus station, you might need to take grab because its about 2-3km distance.

This is the first time I've stayed at a place where they changed the bed sheets and blankets every day during my three-night stay! It's very clean and in a great location.

A very pleasant hotel. The rooms are clean, and the furniture and fixtures are in excellent condition. The courtyard has outdoor furniture and complimentary tea and coffee. It has a cozy, homey atmosphere—I highly recommend it.

It's quite easy to find. It's a B&B style. The room is relatively clean. I told the service staff that there were ants at first, and then they took care of them, and then they disappeared.

老闆一家人都很熱情，唯獨環境真的快多蚊蟲。住了兩晚，全身大約被叮了10幾個包，而且都是又大又紅腫的那種。

As long as you understand this is a budget guesthouse and you don't expect the comforts of a high-end hotel, you will be happy here. There are no proper windows with a view and the mattress was a little hard and the pillow a little soft but these were not big issues for me. I do think it's a little too basic without a dress cabinet. There was also only 2 items on the breakfast menu but that was OK for me. The staff barely spoke English but that doesn't seem a problem with the many foreign tourists. This is what you get though: decorations are nice. The room is very clean and as long as you remember to close the door and not leave food around, you shouldn't have problems with insects. Staff are helpful and responsive as long as they understand what you want. We got a very good driver through the hotel. It is in a quiet location that is near a laundrette, convenience store and night market. If I come to Kanchanaburi, I will stay here again.

Lovely place to stay. Host very helpful. We left our luggage at the property with no problems. Rooms large, basic but comfortable. Breakfast available in a lovely garden area. 10 minutes walk to train station, which was very useful when planning our trip to Hellfire pass. Also very close to Death Railway Museum. Would recommend.
