I tried to connect to the Wi-Fi, and it showed full bars, but for some reason, it wouldn't connect. I was given watermelon juice as a welcome drink. It seemed like the room was on the second floor of a wealthy individual's private home at the top of a hill, rented out. The road up the hill was very narrow; even with a chartered car, it was terrifyingly tight. A lot of fuzz was shedding from the blanket, and at first, I thought it was insects. The towels seemed to have been washed but weren't clean. Regarding amenities, there were no labels, so I couldn't tell if it was shampoo or body wash. There was no hairdryer. The fan was on, which made for a comfortable stay.

Really cute hotel. Amazing service as soon as we arrived we got greeted with mango juice and water. The room was amazing. They offered to organize a lot of activities and driver.

Our stay at Villa Avora Ridge was wonderful. Set away from the main hustle and bustle from Kandy, hidden in the mountain, we enjoyed great hospitality from the family. The room was nice and clean with the view from the balcony utterly stunning. When we bought fruit and breakfast the family let us use their fridge and utensils The accommodation was a 20 minute walk down the hill from the lake which was doable and tuktuks back up were reasonably priced We had a lovely stay here and would recommend others to enjoy it too!

We had an amazing stay. The house is located at the very top of the hill, so we had the best view from our room. We would also like to thank the lady and Mr. Dinesh, our driver, from the bottom of our hearts, for their help and kindness. He even gave us a gift on our departure🥹 we can’t wait to visit Kandy again!

Stayed 2 days. The hotel is located high up in the hills, which gives it a beautiful setting and great views. The road up can be a little challenging, but the people there are incredibly helpful, sometimes they even offer you a ride if they’re heading the same way, which was very kind. The owner and her son are very welcoming and always ready to help with anything you need. They make you feel comfortable and at home. For a short stay of one or two days, it’s a great place to enjoy the hillside area and explore the surroundings.
