We here for a night in Kandy to visit buddha tooth temple. As we selfdrive the hotel have abundant carpark but only drawback is the way a bit steep not walkable to city centre. But the price value is outstanding

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ The hotel itself is absolutely amazing, with beautiful décor and a wonderful atmosphere. The food was delicious, and our experience at Tamarin Restaurant was one of the highlights of our stay. Special thanks to Rohan, his team, and the chef, who were all amazing and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Their warm hospitality and excellent service truly made our stay memorable. Unfortunately, our experience with the reception team was not at the same level. We felt that the hospitality and customer service at reception need improvement, particularly when it comes to making every guest feel equally welcomed, valued, and respected. It was disappointing because the beautiful hotel creates such a high expectation of hospitality, and we feel the reception experience should reflect the same standard. We hope management will take this feedback positively and provide additional training to the reception team. Overall, the hotel is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the Tamarin Restaurant team, especially Rohan and his chef, deserve special recognition for making our stay memorable. With some improvement in reception hospitality, this could truly be an exceptional hotel experience.

Mr Aburodha working in the restaurant is very good, very professional and notice he serving a table for 10 guests during dinner time is in a very sincere manner and professional. We really appreciated for his services.

I saw some negative reviews about this hotel but chose to ignore them -that turned out to be a big mistake. This was the worst experience of my entire trip. At first, I was impressed. The room looked beautiful, almost like a palace. However, the problems started soon after. The main issue was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom. I reported it to the staff, and while they tried to help, their solution was to move me to another room that was even worse.. it had blocked windows and the same unpleasant smell. We initially agreed that I would keep my belongings in the original room and only sleep in the second one. But when I realized the smell there was just as bad, I decided to return to my original room. Then, around 11:00 PM, the situation became completely unacceptable. An employee entered my room without permission -likely to check the bathroom issue, but without any notice or knocking. He walked straight into the bathroom while I was inside, naked. You can imagine how disturbing and unacceptable that was. This is a serious violation of privacy and basic hospitality standards. I am currently consulting with a lawyer regarding this incident.
