Hotels near Children's Park, Kaohsiung

The service was one of the best I've had at any hotel. Rooms were very clean and gym/swimming pool facilities were excellent. The highlight of the place has to be the Japanese sauna! Ended up showering there more than the bath in my room. Overall will def come back again!

Very good except the floor is very slippery with cautions required

Good stay and cozy hotel The view is great and the room is pretty clean. It’s comfortable and good for business trip.

WORTH EVERY MONEY! The location is great just in front of Kaohsiung main station. All facilities were magnificent! Including 24/7 free ice cream, coffee, snacks and even laundry service. You can also get a bottle of house brew beer as a complimentary everyday.

Amazing hotel. My choice for Kaohsiung always. Good service, the staff are accommodating. And they have surprisingly good food for happy hour and lunch. So its a huge plus point. Rooms are clean and spacious. Modern too.

85 Sky Corner Hotel offers an intriguing proposition: budget-friendly accommodation within the iconic Tuntex Sky Tower. The building's distinctive design, resembling the Chinese character for ”high,” is a landmark in itself, and its history as a former tallest structure adds a touch of novelty. The promise of a quiet environment is appealing for those seeking respite from the city's energy. However, the journey to your room involves a somewhat unconventional check-in process. Reaching the 12th floor is the initial step, and as noted by previous guests, clear directions, even through booking platforms or direct communication, appear to be an area for improvement. Upon arrival at the 12th floor, an information desk serves as the central point of contact. Here, you'll discover that the hotel operates under multiple independent management entities. You will need to provide the specific management name associated with your reservation. This multi-operator system clarifies why the room photographs on booking applications may not uniformly represent the specific unit you will be allocated. The check-in then directs you to the corresponding management office on the same floor. A significant highlight of the stay is the exceptional service provided at these management offices. The staff are consistently described as helpful and informative, offering valuable assistance not only with check-in procedures but also with recommendations for local attractions and insights into the hotel itself. This personal touch and dedication to guest satisfaction are commendable and create a positive contrast to the initial navigational hurdles. The hotel's location offers practical advantages. The Lingya Ziqiang Night Market, a mere 600 meters away, provides easy access to Kaohsiung's vibrant street food scene and local culture. Furthermore, the immediate vicinity boasts an impressive number of convenience stores, with over five Seven Elevens within a 200-meter radius, including one conveniently situated on the 12th floor. This ensures that daily necessities and quick snacks are readily available. Regarding the visual aspect of accessing your unit, the provided photographs likely depict the common areas and pathways you will navigate on the 12th floor. Without specific captions within this review format, these images will indeed become clear and understandable upon your arrival, perhaps eliciting a knowing smile as you recognize the routes. In conclusion, 85 Sky Corner Hotel presents an affordable and tranquil lodging option within a renowned landmark. The helpfulness of the on-site management staff and the convenient proximity to a night market and numerous convenience stores are definite benefits. However, potential guests should be prepared for a slightly involved check-in process due to the multi-operator system. The variability in room appearance based on the managing entity is also a factor to keep in mind. Overall, it offers value for money with notable advantages, but the arrival experience requires a degree of patience and understanding.

Clean and spacious room. Breakfast was simple but nice. Good service from the staff as they were meticulous in remembering our request.
