I recently stayed at Ox Suites in the Yancheng district of Kaohsiung, and it was an exceptional experience. Ron and his wife run a fantastic little serviced apartment that’s clean, modern, and minimalist, yet equipped with everything you might need—and more. The apartment was spotless, and the minimalist design made it feel spacious and comfortable. Ron went above and beyond by providing a comprehensive list of things to do in the Yancheng area, which was incredibly helpful. If you only have three nights, like I did, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy just in Yancheng and nearby Cijin. Their recommendations were spot on, and they were always just a message away if I needed anything or had any questions. The location is also a major plus. It’s just a short walk to Yancheng station on the orange line, making it easy to get around. You can easily reach the hotel with just one change of train line from the HSR Station. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Kaohsiung. Highly recommended!

The cleaning staff worked really hard and cleaned the room very well, which was amazing. Although the space is not big, it is very quiet and the sleep quality is very good. There is an elevator and the self-service check-in is also very detailed. The only drawback is that there is no parking lot or parking fee subsidy.

The locations of water dispensers and washing machines are marked on each floor, which is very considerate~~ When I entered the room, the space was very clean and I liked it~~ We also prepared an extra quilt for customers to use, which I think is very considerate. Self-service check-in and check-out are adopted, mainly using Line. There is a coin-operated washing machine and dryer on the sixth floor. You must wear the provided indoor slippers during your stay. The famous duck meat is nearby, and there are also other snacks to choose from. The mini double room is quite small, just perfect for one person!

Today I stayed in room 403. Compared with room 603 last time, the bed this time was obviously used for a long time. The spring inside was soft. If two people sleep together, they will slide to the middle. If one person turns over, the other person will obviously feel the movement. For those who value sleep, I recommend booking room 603.

I think it's clean and comfortable. There are a lot of delicious food in the location. The only downside is that the shower drains slowly and there is a little water accumulation. The pillow is too soft and has no support. The network is really too slow. The rest is great.

The boss is very kind. There are elevators and stairs in the hotel that you can use, but the stairs are hollow, so be careful if you are afraid of heights. There are toiletries and even dental floss attached, which is very considerate.

The room is quite big, with a small balcony to go out to The toilet is great. It has an electric heated toilet and hot water is available. The room also has a small refrigerator

The room is clean. Even if you don't know something, such as how to use the TV remote control, they will kindly teach you. The toilet has a washlet and has sufficient water pressure. The room I stayed in had only a shower, but Kaohsiung is like summer in Japan all year round, so it didn't bother me as I usually take showers in the summer. All amenities are available. There is one day's worth of supplies in your room, but if you stay for multiple nights, you will have to replenish what you use. There is a convenience store across the street, so you can buy anything you suddenly need. Depending on where you're going, there's probably a bus stop right in front of you, a cafe next door that sells sandwiches in the morning, and a popular shop along the street where people line up for lunch and dinner. I think the location is good. This was my first time in Taiwan in 4 and a half years since the end of the year just before the coronavirus, but I would like to stay there again when I go to Kaohsiung.
