The hotel is at a good location. The staff are very friendly. The foods for breakfast and afternoon tea are good. However, they put us in a room on the 8th floor. That room had a moldy smell when you walked in. The second night the roof started leaking water and got our stuff wet. It was like 5-6 am. The hotel staff apologized and put us in a room on the third floor. So, we had to pack and move to a different room which was a hassle. The room on the 3rd floor did not have a moldy smell when we went in. So, I think the room on the 8th floor must have leaking issues in the past and they didn’t fix the problems. Another thing is that the hotel does not have a lobby so if you have friends visiting, there’s no place to sit and chat. They have to come to your room. And, there’s only one chair in the room. People have to sit on the bed. Overall, it’s an ok hotel with the price you pay. I probably won’t stay at this hotel next time I visit Taiwan.
