Pet-friendly Hotels in Karlsruhe

Hotel liked! Good location (near the train station), very welcoming staff, comfortable rooms. Very satisfied breakfast with excellent choice of dishes (even fried potatoes were present)! I arrived very tired, left with a lot of positive emotions!

Plus: + Value for money as such but largely depending on what deal one can make. + Reception - friendly and efficient. + City Center + Public transport (with a trade off - see under minus) + Breakfast OK but just + Bar service - coffee service excellent + Room very good equipped + Clean + Excellent but expensive garage-parking. Minus: - The Airconditioning is a bad joke! Does not work but they offer you a (good working) ventilator instead! - Avoid if possible the rooms at the frontside corner. A continuous flow of traffic and loud Trams are passing. It’s impossible to open a window without running the risk of hearing damage!

Location - easy to find but lots of overflowing bins outside the annex which made the areas look less appealing. Staff - excellent, very helpful and pleasant. Room - we were in the annex. Obviously newer part of the hotel. Room comfortable, all the amenities for overnight stay. I cannot remember the room number but it started with 5. Enter building and the lift and look for the 5th floor, our room appeared to be in the 'basement', so after the shortest lift drop we arrive at our room, a mere 5 steps below ground level. We did have a view out but as the weather was threatening we didn't... Breakfast - super selection of fresh food. Decor of restaurant was a bit dated (same comment for hotel foyer). Clean. We took advantage of the parking - would've been slightly problematic with a 5m long Saab to access the garage, no problem for a Golf. Will go again, just hope the binmen have been.

Good location for a four star hotel. The hotel is close to the commercial area and the surrounding environment is also very good. Calling a taxi from the main fire is almost 9 euros. The hotel is very hygienic and the front desk staff is very friendly. The hotel is fully equipped with a gym. It’s just that the texture of the interior decoration is better. Later, Karu will choose to live here.

Convenient transportation from the train station

This is the closest hotel to the Karoo Railway Station. It is a 2-minute walk from the train station and there are trams and bus stops at the door, so the traffic is extremely convenient. The facilities in the room are quite ordinary, but the layout is reasonable and very clean. There is breakfast available downstairs from the hotel, starting from 6.30am, the price is 12 euros. The price/performance ratio of breakfast is still very high, it is recommended.

When booking a hotel in Europe I look for the following: 1. Room for 4, 2. Parking for a pickup truck, 3. Free breakfast, 4. Relatively close to attractions. This hotel covers 3.5 of the items. It is about 2-3km from downtown. However, I found out after the fact that you can park for free about 10min walk from the city center. The breakwast was amazing, better in my opinion than some of the major US brands. Rooms were clean and staff spoke English and was polite. Location was easy to find and didn't have to use the onsite parking as the street parking was free. -1 star due to the rooms looking dated and no air coniditioning. We stayed in an ”appartment” which was just a larger room and the second ”bed” was a pull-out couch. We could have stayed in the cheaper room, but European occupancy rules and weird and we are forced into a ”suite” or ”appartment” (which this was not). Overall, I picked this hotel for the parking and breakfast. Had I known there is free parking right outside the city center, we would have stayed somewhere closer.

Hotels in the B&B chain B&B Hotels we know well thanks to the positive experiences in France, Italy and Germany, comfortablely located short distance from the south entrance of the central Karlsruhe station. B&B website booked at a cost of €78 for one night, two people, with no breakfast, I can say it was a great stay. Probably the price was a little above the average but the presence of the large free parking in the garage, directly connected to the structure by lift, was perfect and allowed us to turn the city the next morning, This is the only thing that is worth a maximum vote. The room is the classic of this type of hotel (a third bed was also present here) with bathroom (with phone) Wi-Fi, air conditioning and, behind the bed, a reproduction of the particular city map of a nice size. But, as in all the hotels in the chain, the lack of a small refrigerator is the most heard thing and, at least for my way of seeing the room, it would change much. In any case, the hotel's friendly personal staff has shown themselves ready to make some ice cream, which is useful to carry something in our refrigerator bag. Thanks to the nearness to the station, you can only walk the long passage from the south entrance to the main entrance to find a number of very comfortable trams for the city centre, along with trains directly near or even beyond and, Even more in the period of 9-Euro Ticket, this was really perfect. A great hotel, comfortable, quiet, well managed, would certainly be the first choice for a new stay in Karlsruhe.

What a pleasant surprise. The room size was adequate for a couple. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. Then you go down for breakfast and WOW! Great variety of food on offer and fresh coffee on the table. The thought down to the last detail, just fantastic. Great job by the restaurant staff. Thank you.

The reception by the staff at the reception was friendly but somewhat chaotic. Unfortunately, there were also staff at the reception who were rather embarrassed by questions and that also clearly showed. Rooms 208 is quiet but very narrow. The bathroom is very large and perfectly enough in relation to the room. Unfortunately, all silicon fuels were strongly coloured and partly equipped with fungal liabilities. The quality of the room and bathroom cleaning was very dependent on the staff of the housekeeping. The first two days were still sticks of flat glasses and bottles, and undefinable sticks on the sticks in the bathroom and on the desk. The quality of the mattress was good but unfortunately the kits were not so good. The service to get a coffee or other hot drinks at any time in the breakfast room is a nice gesture. Breakfast was in order without being something special. The parking situation is challenged by the hotel's own parking house with a maximum height of the vehicles to be adjusted of 1.5 m.
