CHC Sound of the Sea ★★★★
"The Hotel is very quiet. We realy hear the sound of the Sea. It's very near the harfbour and the city of Pigadia. We enjoyed to stay at the pool area and to have daily amazing lunch and dinner. The rates at the snack bar are cheaper than in Pigadia. The staff is very good and they are very friendly with all guests"
Lemon Tree House ★★★
"Expecting much more for the money we paid; no shower gel available in the bathroom. Room was small with a small balcony looking at a narrow dead end street.Breakfast was basic;no fresh orange juice provided and little variety of fruit and vegetables. There was no wi-fi connection in the room though it was included in the amenities. Narrow staircase leading to the rooms and no elevator for those carrying heavy luggage. Hotel is located in the heart of Pigadia but parking nearby is another issue as the roads around it are very narrow."
Atlantis Hotel ★★
"Our stay at Atlantis Karpathos was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere, the stunning surroundings, and the attention to detail throughout the property. The rooms are spacious, modern, and spotless, offering both comfort and style. Waking up to the beautiful views of the sea and the island’s natural beauty was truly a highlight of our trip. The staff were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Every request was met with a smile, and they made us feel valued and well cared for during our entire stay. The location is perfect: peaceful, scenic, and close to local attractions, yet private enough to enjoy a relaxing getaway. The pool and outdoor areas are beautiful and maintained to the highest standards, perfect for lounging or enjoying the sunset. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm, welcoming, and enjoyable. Atlantis Karpathos exceeded all our expectations. We left feeling relaxed and grateful for the experience and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Karpathos!"
Albatros ★★★
"This hotel met all of our expectations. The hotel has the most beautiful view and the staff provide service to perfection. Always received by happy and smiling staff. The hotel is clean and tidy and far beyond what many better rated hotels deliver. A place you really enjoy being."
Almi Luxury Rooms ★★★
"Beautifully located right on the sandy beach in Amoopi. Modern concept of a small hotel made of traditional local materials, all in a luxurious design. The hotel and restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful. The dishes are originally traditional, but also touristy. The services, including sunbed reservations, are absolutely reliable."
Theoxenia Kasos Luxury Apartments ★★★
"Super clean apartment on Kasos with nice view great service from host super friendly. Thanks for trip. Pick up and drop off from airport great extra service."
Bluu Bahari Hotel ★★★
"We stayed for 12 days at the property and had a very good time. The staff is very friendly, helpful and makes you feel pampered. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the view from the hotel is amazing and from the terrace it is possible to admire a beautiful sunset while spending convivial moments enjoying excellent cocktails. The pool is clean and very large, we liked it a lot. The cuisine was absolutely excellent, with a daily variety of proposals which made the stay very pleasant, you can perceive all the experience of the Chef who really cares about pampering everyone even those who, like my partner, have food allergies. Well done. Another positive point is the excellent location of the hotel from where you can reach the most beautiful beaches with short journeys or the center of Arkasa which is worth visiting in the evening. There are certainly some details that can be improved but overall the quality/price ratio is absolutely positive! We definitely recommend everyone to stay at the Bluu Bahari Hotel. We will definitely be back."
Althea Boutique Hotel - Adults Only ★★★★
"We spent 2 weeks at the hotel and it was an amazing experience. A really beautiful boutique hotel. The owner Maria is the best at her job, very welcoming, friendly and always willing to advise you on the best of the island. The overall service was very good and Maria's family did a great job making everything very comfortable. The room was spacious, elegant and modernly decorated, with a large balcony with a wonderful view of the sea. The breakfast, although not a buffet, was very rich and tasty, prepared at that time with very pure local ingredients. It is very important that the hotel is very clean and the room was cleaned every day, which helps you to relax and enjoy your vacation. We really enjoy our stay at this hotel."
Thalassa Suites ★★★
"We have been trying for years to find a nice place to stay in Karpathos close to windsurfing sites in Afiartis but somehow we were never happy. Thalassa changed everything. It is clean, modern, cozy ,and roomy with tasty decorations and beautiful landscaping. It is conveniently located next to Anemos bar and the ION windsurfing centre. Manolis the owner is extremely helpful and this has to be one of the best accommodations in the island."

Montemar Studios & Apartments
"So glad that we chose Montemar for our recent stay in Arkasa. The location is great, close to a nice beach with a bar and lovely cafe. The apartments are quite simple but have everything that you need, if you get a sea view, which I think most have then the sunsets are lovely. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Probably best to hire a car to make the most of the area. Montemar has been great for a relaxing break, I hope we will return."
Hotel Astron Princess
"I could “just” say that this hotel provides the best value for money you can find , but that doesn’t even begin to describe this GEM of a place. Perfectly situated for easy walking everywhere, the whole facility is immaculately clean, nice pool (not fancy but more than adequate), breakfast was way better than expected with home made jams and freshly made omelette. Above everything else - the staff was the friendliest you will ever find !!! We went to a beach, and the lady offered us to take an umbrella that someone left there …. (NEVER happened to us)"
Arpathea Villas
"Beautiful property with clean, modern design and a terrace that opens straight to the sea. The infinity pool merges with the horizon at sunset in a way that’s hard to forget. Quiet, well thought out, nothing feels missing. One of those places you keep thinking about after you leave"
Arkasa Bay Hotel
"Arkasa Bay offered more comfort, more space and more of a welcome in comparison with most other Greek island hotels that we have stayed at. We see this reflected in reviews by other guests as well. Breakfasts were tailored to people's requests. Rooms were cleaned every day. The hotel is small enough that it feels homely. You often see cats roaming around the terrace but they tend to shy away from guests and are fed discretely out of view. The nearest sandy beach is 10 minutes away, where you can enjoy a lunch or drinks at the nearby Glaros restaurant. For evening meals, we had the choice of several affordable restaurants close by, with Kipos being the best in our opinion. The only downside to Arkasa seemed to be impractical bus timetables if you didn't own a car. An excursion to Olympos is highly recommended."
Aegean Village Beachfront Resort
"Very nice hotel in a great location. The receptionist was very helpful."
Konstantinos Palace
"Konstantinos Palace Karpathos – More Than a Hotel, a Truly Heartfelt Experience At the end of May, my husband Alex and I had the privilege of spending a few wonderful days at Konstantinos Palace in Karpathos. We initially chose the hotel because of its exceptional location and outstanding reviews, but what we experienced far exceeded all our expectations. From our very first email exchange, we had the pleasure of meeting Evangelia, the hotel's manager. Her professionalism, warmth, openness, and attention to every detail made us feel genuinely welcome even before we arrived on the island. From the first message to our departure, Evangelia embodied the very essence of authentic Greek hospitality. We left with a sincere promise to return, because this hotel offers far more than accommodation—it creates memories. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, impeccable service, and remarkable people behind it transform a stay into an experience that remains with you long after you return home. Our first impression upon arrival was Anna, one of the wonderful members of the reception team. Always smiling, highly professional, and deeply knowledgeable about the island and its traditions, Anna enriched each day of our stay with excellent recommendations, delightful stories, and valuable advice that helped us discover the true spirit of Karpathos. Together with her colleagues and the energetic Mr. Takis, the hotel manager, she created that rare atmosphere where you feel both like a valued guest and a cherished friend. A special mention goes to Despina, the hotel's Guest Manager. Her professionalism is truly impressive, but what stands out even more is the natural warmth and friendliness she extends to every guest, making every conversation a genuine pleasure. She speaks several languages, including German, and for me it was a true joy to practice my Greek with her, Anna, and the rest of the team. These are people who offer not only excellent service but also a genuine sense of well-being. We would also like to acknowledge all the other team members: the restaurant staff, the housekeeping ladies who maintained everything impeccably, and every person who contributed to making our stay so memorable. At Konstantinos Palace, you can feel that every employee performs their work with professionalism, respect, and genuine care for people. Breakfast on the sea-view terrace was a delight every single morning—abundant, varied, delicious, and beautifully presented. Fresh coffee, seasonal fruits, local specialties, and breathtaking views over the sea created the perfect start to each day in Karpathos. Even on the only day when a brief rain shower accompanied us, nature rewarded us with an extraordinary spectacle. The rainbow stretching across the sea and the panoramic view over Pigadia created one of the most beautiful scenes we have ever witnessed. The hotel's upper terrace offers, in our opinion, one of"
Cavo Marelia
"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Our room was extremely clean, modern and very comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The breakfast is excellent and offers such a wide variety that there really is something for everyone. The hotel’s menu is also extensive, and the food we had was very good. The hotel itself is modern and has a lovely swimming pool with comfortable sun loungers and parasols. Pool towels are available from reception and can be exchanged every two days. You only pay a small deposit, which is refunded when you leave. The nearby beach is also lovely, especially if you enjoy snorkelling. There are lots of fish to see! Try to go snorkelling when there isn’t too much wind, as the water is then beautifully clear and visibility underwater is excellent. Unfortunately, our stay was unexpectedly cut short and we had to return home earlier than planned, so we didn’t get the chance to explore as much of the area or visit as many restaurants as we would have liked. However, Taverna Nina is an absolute must! Wonderful, authentic Greek food fresh, simple and full of flavour, without unnecessary fuss. The tzatziki with pita is absolutely delicious! All in all, a fantastic modern hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the sea, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely recommend staying here. The only downside is the usual “towel reservation” situation around the pool. Unfortunately, if you arrive later in the morning, most or all of the sun loungers may already be occupied or reserved with towels. I don’t think this is necessarily because people are trying to claim the best spots; there simply seem to be too few loungers for the number of guests. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel."
Poseidon Blue Gastronomy Hotel
"Poseidon Blue Gastronomy Hotel is a rare gem on this island. We chose this hotel based on price and because it included breakfast. That was our best choice so far, our mistake was to not have booked this hotel for our complete stay. We arrived on a Sunday, for a two-day workation and checked out on Wednesday. There is a dependable wifi connection, however this was for us not strong enough to video-conference. Staff: the staff is genuinly nice, friendly and appear happy to be there. During our short stay we were treated with such kindness, that it made us feel at home or like you were visiting a close friend’s home. Room: The room we stayed at had partial view of the sea, a bit obstructed by the (flat) roof of the forward building. There is elegance in its simplicity, room was clean, bed was comfortable, pillows even more so. Bathroom (as we see in Greece) is somewhat smaller than we are used to at home but clean with amenities like soap, shower gel and shampoo. Gastronomy: Our breakfast was included, it is served daily at the taverna and this is hands down my favorite part of the day. You preselect your next breakfast daily from a list of about 8 different menus. After you sit down, the breakfast of your choice is served. Note “staff” above. Restaurant is open from 12:00-22:30, we only had salad for lunch but dinner was always a taste bud party! Great menu, great taste, even if you do not stay here, make sure you eat here at least once. Location: Serenity and peace are keywords, located at the end of a paved road, there is no other traffic but visitors of the hotel and maybe beach goers. About 20 min €35 euro taxi ride from Pigadia, and about 10 min €20 ride from the airport but do ask the hotel if they can arrange transfer. Beach: the closest beach is Paralia Damatria which is a minute’s stroll downhill. There are beach chairs and umbrellas for rent and I believe I’ve seen hotel staff ensure guests can order food and drinks from the beach area. In the neighborhood you find Paralia Christou Pigadi and Agrilos Beach. And in search for freedom you can find Gypsy Beach a 15 minute hike along the coast northwards. With help of reception we rented a car on Wednesday, our initial plan, and we wished we could have stayed longer but the hotel was fully booked. The experience was so pleasurable that we must return, do we reserved our last night with Poseidon. Special shoutout to Ingmar for all the tips of the island. "
Arkasa Palace
"Our experience at Arkasa Palace was magical to say the least! All spaces are perfectly designed for even the most demanding customer! Maria and all the staff were polite, cheerful and always there to serve! The Villa where we stayed was fantastic and perfectly equipped! We will definitely go again!"
