We had an amazing stay at SunSeaBar! The beachfront location is just perfect — waking up and seeing the ocean right from our room was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast on the rooftop with that view was another highlight and the best way to start the day. The owner, Al Pacino, was incredibly welcoming and kind. He checked in on everyone, helped us with taxis, gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to see, and even showed us around Zanzibar. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and wants everyone to have the best experience. The food was super fresh and delicious every day, and the views all around the property are stunning. There are plenty of comfy sun loungers right by the beach — perfect for relaxing. A big shoutout to Michael and Lucas at reception — they were always smiling, super helpful, and ready to assist with whatever we needed. And Ismael helped us organize all our tours, both private and group ones, and everything was perfectly arranged and way cheaper than booking online. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Zanzibar — we loved everything about it!

Strange for this review i noticed its old , the hotel in the beat location and best beach , rooms and well renovated and decorated . Price are resonable . The food in all my stay in the zanzibar i served thr best and delcios food. Great job

The hotel is perfectly placed right on Kendwa beach. My room had spectacular views over the beach and ocean and my balcony was the perfect place to watch sunset. I would definitely recommend booking a Seaview room. The pool was a good size and offered sun and shade. There was a huge selection at breakfast which is eaten up in the top floor with amazing views. All the staff were very friendly particularly the reception staff and manager who checked in on me when I wasn’t well for a couple of days (who doesn’t love a cold whilst on a tropical island). The hotel offers brilliant value for a perfect location.

After a terrible experience at the Pazuri Beach Hotel we found this gem. They made us feel welcome, and for a great price we received a good bed, aircon, balcony and open window, hot water, beach towels and a tasty breakfast

Located on a stunning white beach with fishermen's boats outside the hotel, this hotel is a great place to plan your holiday exploring beautiful Zanzibar. An ample breakfast offers a stunning view from the rooftop straight over the whole beach area. There is a lovely lounging in the sun garden that runs straight onto the beach. There is a swimming pool with a coconut tree growing in the middle of it and the outside restaurant expands onto the beach with lovely on the sand dining. I drew the short straw and ended up in a room on the ground floor looking into an inner stairwell. So avoid the room called "Ukrain." Boat trips pick you up from the beach in front of the hotel. Sunsets on this beach are the best I have seen anywhere in the world with an incredible shadow of colours breaking up across the sky from mainland mountain peaks that look like the aurora borealis. There is such a lot of life on this beach in the evening with muscle men pumping up their bodies, jet skis and disco boats dancing around the bay with sundowners. The water is warm clear and perfect for enjoying the best evenings I have had on a beach anywhere.
