Very nice hotel. Breakfast buffet had a good assortment. Room service was always quick and cheerful. Fan in our toilet was noisy and some water ran from the shower floor into the toilet area. You do get quite a bit of noise coming from Lakeside road businesses Overall a pleasant enough.

Good service and knowledgeable staff. Room is not available due to some reason. they arranged another hotel to me with less price. But actually no refund. I know know it is trip.com' problem or hotel problem

The bed sheets are disgusting, dirty, dirty, dirty. I'm speechless. The water is very small and seems to be dripping. This price is really a blessing.

The hotel has complete facilities, the rooms are clean and comfortable, of moderate size, and the service is warm and professional

I booked two rooms and were very satisfied. Don't have any worries, feel free to check in, I will come back again.

The appearance is an old-fashioned hotel with not many employees. It’s okay for a hotel at this price. The location is convenient, but it’s a bit noisy at night near the bar. It’s very convenient to eat out. The hotel is located on 15th Street, and there is an authentic restaurant on 16th Street Korean home-style cuisine is very good, and there are also western food and even bars, the food quality is not bad, there is a live concert, the atmosphere is very good.

We had booked 2 family rooms at Hotel Portland three months in advance, only to be told at check-in that our rooms weren’t available. The lame excuse? Other guests had extended their stay. This reeks of classic overbooking mismanagement. Instead of giving us rooms of equal capacity, they downgraded us to smaller rooms with fewer beds than we booked, and casually told us to use a floor mattress. Only after we pushed for either equivalent rooms or a discount, they reluctantly shifted us to a different hotel nearly a kilometre away, which wasn’t as centrally located. To top it off, they charged us 800 NPR for a “complementary” cake that we were never consulted about — no mention of flavour, cost, or consent. The bill just showed up at the new hotel. What’s even worse? They were in touch with me the day before arrival and never mentioned anything about the unavailability of rooms. Completely dishonest and disrespectful. This experience was frustrating, disappointing, and honestly, ruined a part of our trip. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Poor management, zero accountability, and a total lack of integrity.

We booked this place on line based on reviews. We had the pleasure of staying here 2 nights 3 days. The room we got overlooked the lake and mountains. It was clean and in good condition and the location was perfect- close to shops and the lake. The staff were incredibly friendly especially Sandesh and Kriti. The buffet breakfast was good and the staff there were very courteous and catered to our requests We highy recommend this hotel as it is good value for money with very courteous staff that make your stay even better.

Our stay with Portland was excellent. Having stayed with several hotels in Pokhara, we can easily tell that Portland offered tremendous service in terms of guest service, beautiful guest room, clean guest areas, and delicious breakfast. I would like to thank each and every staffs associated with hotel right from front desk, housekeeping to breakfast attendees. Special mention to young front desk staff SABINA INDIRA who provided a world class hospitality service from the moment we entered the hotel to till we stepped out from hotel door. Highly recommended to visitors to stay in this beautiful hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Portland for almost two weeks and had an absolutely pleasant experience. From the hospitality to the management, everything was perfectly aligned. I must specifically mention Indira, who was both professional and friendly, taking care of everything we needed during our stay. From check-in to check-out, laundry to room service, she managed everything in a highly organized and professional way. After our first 4 days, we checked out to visit the countryside, but we were so impressed with our experience that upon returning to Pokhara, we booked a similar room for over a week. The mountain and lake views from the balcony were breathtaking, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Indira went above and beyond by guiding us on how to explore Pokhara safely and efficiently, making our trip even more memorable. We have to say that Hotel Portland was wonderful, but it was Indira's exceptional care, patience, and hospitality that made all the difference. Thank you so much, Indira. We’ll definitely be back in a few months!

Breakfast was amazing,shout out to the kitchen staff for the delicious food. Well qualified staff with beautiful smile. And room was neat and clean with modern decorations. Hotel is located on main street just 2 minutes walking distance to main market and lake. Luckily we get room on Fourth floor with Great lake ,and mountain view which was enough for us to make our stay unforgeable. We will back again 😊 💯 Percentage recommendation
