"The hotel is close to the main train station of Kassel and William train station, close to the river, the appearance is simple, the interior is very design, very beautiful. The setting and layout of each room are slightly different. There is a market by the river next to the hotel, you can stroll around. It is very convenient to go to William Heights or Green World, and there are trams and even some walking distances nearby. The room was very well maintained, the whole looked new and very clean. The bathroom has windows and the ventilation system is not bad. The bathroom is very fast. The restaurant downstairs is German and very delicate. Breakfast and dinner are very good, especially salad, fresh and delicious. The roast pork chops for dinner are generally mastered, and they are a little uncooked at the end. It is not recommended. The fried pork chops are very good, crisp and delicious, not greasy at all. The waiter is very handsome and patient, and will pay attention to timely inquiries, which is great. Overall very satisfied, will come again next time."

"Ladies and gentlemen, We would like to thank you for our stay in your hotel. Most of all this was really excellent. The restaurant and buffet, including the friendly service staff, were also good to very good. Unfortunately, however, there was a point that has somehow affected our stay: the ceiling height of our room was too low for us, which was felt as impressive. At the check-out we were asked whether everything was to our satisfaction. However, after we expressed our concerns about the room, there was no response to it. That surprised us somewhat, because such a question should actually serve to address any problems and address them. We would be happy if future guests were given a better feedback in a similar situation. In general, we had a pleasant stay and thank you for your hospitality. With friendly greetings Fam. Frank."

I borrowed a power adapter that didn't work, and after returning it, they still tried to charge me for it at check-out. Also, the room's curtains didn't close properly at all."

"I stayed at Hood House for three nights whilst attending a conference in Kassel. The location is central (on Königsplatz) with access to restaurants, shops and cafes as well as public transport. The location is not the poshes corner of Kassel. There was a fair bit of police presence until late at night in surrounding streets but it didn’t feel unsafe at all. Access to the accommodation is fully contactless, including check-in. An electronic key is issued on check in, accessible on your phone and there is also the possibility of issuing a key card on a self-check-in kiosk. The day I arrived the server was down and we had to wait for about an hour to receive help from a nearby partner hotel. Once that was rectified, the experience was smooth. The accommodation may not be suitable for non-tech savvy travellers though. My appartment (500) was modern, clean and spacious with a queen bed and a bed sofa in the living area. This would sleep up to 4 in comfort. The kitchenette is equipped with the basics plus a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer as well as an ironing board on the 5th floor. There are no other amenities in the building, however there is a gym (All Inclusive Fitness) in one of the malls across the road that has day passes (Tageskarte) for under €10."

"We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights and can only report positive things. The rooms are clean and spacious and you feel comfortable. The breakfast is a buffet and very sufficient. As a family, we had no complaints."

"The hotel is located in a industrial area side by side. Parking and e-columns are available. Reception at the reception very friendly. The room of the high-class has a balcony. Coffee could be prepared in the room, but the missed me. The comfort in bed was good, but the mattress was too soft for me. The TV image was very dark and it could not be changed. I don't like hotels where you can't get the gardens completely. There was still a lot of space left and right for light, which is unfavorable just in the summer months. The wind passed through the door so that I had to put the towel before the door on the floor because of the noise. Breakfast was OK. The atmosphere in the hotel felt rather cool. For one or two nights it is certainly recommendable because this hotel is certainly one of the best hotels in Kassel."

"Stayed at the Best Western for two nights whilst back packing (over 50’s style) through Germany. We booked a junior suite. Positives: - Very close location to the Kassel Wilhelmshöhe train station that is perfect for exploring the Wilhelmshöhe Park. - Very nice welcome from the staff - Clean, large room, complimentary water and nespresso machine. - Free two day travel card from the hotel to get you into the centre of Kassel(approx 3km by tram). Negatives: - Rooms facing towards the train station/tram lines will be noisy from the traffic so ask for a room at the back if that is a problem(the hotel kindly provide ear plugs if needed). We were satisfied with a 2 night stay but pleased to be moving on."

"The apartment-style space is quite spacious, with a living room, a bedroom, a porch, and a bathroom. It's conveniently located next to the train station. It seems to be newly opened; the only downside is that the entrance is a bit hard to find—it took me quite a while to locate it next to Spielhalle. Adding a billboard would make it even better."

"The Location next to the River is stunning and I enjoyed walking around, watching birds, the apartment had two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a really nice balcony. I did not use the SPA but it looked really nice on pictures and from the outside. I also really liked the swings on the balcony. The bathtubs is also really comfy. The only things they could improve would be a hair dryer (which I might have missed), hangars for the wardrobe and maybe a different soap. I travelled by car, there waa sufficient parking space, if you park on the premises it costs 10€, if you park upstairs at the main road it is for free."

"The room was quite clean, and although I chose a small single bed, it was very comfortable, and I slept very well. The breakfast was reasonably priced. However, there was no elevator, and it took a lot of effort to carry my large suitcase up. The place is close to the attractions, but since it was my first time there and I wasn't familiar with the area, I followed Google Maps along some less-than-accurate back roads. The navigation wasn't very precise, and the paths were quite winding, so please be careful."
