Oze Kogen Hotel ★★
"I used it to go to Oze, but it was convenient because there was a pick-up to Hatomachi Pass. The meal was a buffet, but it was delicious. After all, it was very reasonable and good."
Sasanoyu ★★
"Friendly English staff speaking. Good onsen."
Resort In Katashina ★★
"First of all, with the smile of my wife at check-in, I could see that the word of mouth was highly evaluated. I was grateful that I had a BBQ late because I stayed only for 々 that day. I was happy to insert handmade rice balls and pickles. Also, he was very satisfied with the free provision of additional charcoal. I thought it would be a very helpful response as the same hospitality business. Next time, we plan to use it with a large number of people. Thank you very much."
Kankoso ★★★
"We had an amazing and relaxing stay! We truly loved it and had a wonderful night surrounded by serene nature. The view was absolutely beautiful — the lake is just right in front of the hotel! The place is spotless and very well maintained. But what truly made our stay special was the incredible staff. A big shoutout to Mr. Ozu, the General Manager, for going the extra mile with his thoughtfulness! When he learned that we were heading to the ropeway the next day (and that there were no bus trips on weekdays), he kindly offered us a ride. He was also genuinely concerned about our hike and overall safety — so heartwarming! Since we didn’t get the dinner package and there was only one restaurant nearby that closed at 4 p.m., we decided to get a takeout for dinner. My friend also asked if there was a nearby café to buy a cake for my birthday, but there wasn’t any. Later that evening, after we came back from the onsen, someone knocked on our door and surprised us with a complimentary cake! They said it was because we didn’t have dinner and they wanted to celebrate my birthday. Awwww! Such a thoughtful and sweet gesture! 🎂💖 In the morning, Mr. Ozu even gave us taxi numbers and the bus schedule for Yumoto Onsen, making sure our travel plans went smoothly. Truly amazing hospitality — we felt so cared for and appreciated throughout our stay! 🌿✨"
Hotel Tamakiya' Oze-Tokura Hot Spring ★★
"I used this place because I was going to Oze in the morning. The food was delicious and made with local ingredients, and although it was filling, it was easy to digest. The staff were very friendly and I had a very comfortable stay. I was also happy that I could have coffee. I get cold easily, so I was very grateful that there was a gas heater in the room. It was empty, so I was able to take my time in the hot spring. It's nice that they can store your car while you're in Oze."
Mizubasho No Yado Higashi ★★
"It was a nice inn with a nice hot spring. The staff at the inn are very polite and will make you want to come back again. The rooms are also kept clean."
Hirando Ryokan ★★
"The proprietress is kind and the dinner is rich and delicious. Take breakfast early and take the rice balls in the morning The accommodation is clean and quiet. The water quality of the soup house is great."
Marui Ryokan ★★
"Nothing in particular to complain about; the service was good. The facilities are a bit old, though?"
Pension Arma ★★★
"The location is a bit far, but the owner is okay. The hot spring pool is small, the rooms are basic, and the breakfast and dinner are average. It's okay, though."

Ryokan Miyuki
"I stayed on skiing, but if there was no stairs at the entrance I thought it was okay. The service responded like a family. The meal was delicious and I would like to stay again."
Oze No Yado Isa
"The hot spring water was very good. The owner's service was simple but polite. The room was also decent."
Kodakaranoyu Shiojiri Hotel
"The food is delicious and the staff are very kind and attentive. Thank you 😊"
Umedaya Ryokan
"It is a ryokan in the old Katashina village, but it is impeccable in terms of cleanliness, and the kindness of the staff was the best. In particular, the meals were the best dinner and breakfast on this trip. It is the best value for money, but even leaving aside the price, it is the best ryokan that will not be pushed aside anywhere."
Hanasaku Onsen Yoshiyaso
"The environment is okay! It’s just that the location is too remote! It is not recommended to stay if you don’t have a self-driving car!"
