Very nice , clean , comfortable hotel ! The location is perfect as it is a little bit outside of Thamel so it’s quiet , but it takes 2 minutes to get to the crowded streets ! There is a nice restaurant in the hotel with very good food! The stuff is friendly and helpful ! Nita from the reception is very nice , really appreciate her help with everything ! Highly recommend this place for short stay and long stay !

This is the first time my husband and I are traveling to Nepal. I researched hotels and booked one near Thamel. Hotel Odyssey Nepal is located in a quiet, hidden alley about 350 meters from the center of Thamel. It is next to a beautiful restaurant called Garden of Joy, a professional hair salon, and a convenience store.
The staff and owner are friendly and helpful. The room is clean, but sometimes the Wi-Fi is slow.

The behavior of the hotel staff was really good. They were really helpful also. Definitely recommend their services. But the problem we faced was they didn’t pick up call of the reception and they don’t have lift in their hotel. We called several times to give tissue paper but they couldn’t give us. The food is really good from the restaurant downstairs the hotel.

The staff were super helpful and friendly and welcoming. I only stayed for 1 night but had a baby cockroach run under my pillow which freaked me out a bit but the room seemed clean enough.. maybe just location and old buildings.
