I was in Hotel Festoon back in november 2019. At that time it was correct for the price we payed. I went back this year and we had the surprise of our life ! All rooms smelled really bad, moisture and humidity in every corner of the 'hotel'. Most of the toilets didn't flush. Water dripping in every bathroom, no warm water coming out of most of the tabs. The bedsheets were really dirty, reeking of people who slept in it before us. Empty bottles of beer between the bed and the wall. And lots of insects in bathrooms and bedrooms. Above this all, loud noice EVERY night INSIDE the lobby of the hotel: people come here to party at night and it makes it impossible to sleep. It doesn't make me angry, it makes me sad, because the owner of the hotel is a kind man, very friendly as is the little remaining staff. They do there best but it is obvious that there is no money at all to repare rooms, bathrooms, to hire proper staff to clean and to prepare the rooms. My guess is that COVID did a great job here. I wish someone could help these people back on there feet and get FESTOON back at the lever they were 4 or 5 years ago.

在尼泊爾的兩個星期裏，我在這家旅館住了5晚。與其説這裡是旅館，不如説是招待所。標準的帶雙人床的雙人間小到不能同時打開兩個行李箱。地毯極其之臟，衞生間的門壞得厲害。整間旅館都十分的骯臟。加德滿都政府規定早上和晚上都有一次為時三小時的跳閘限電。不會推薦，當然也不會再去入住這裏了。
