The room was very clean and tidy. However, there were no hangers provided. I tried to rig up a clothesline, but couldn't, so I just ended up folding my clothes. If you have a lot of clothes or need hangers, be sure to bring your own. The rooftop was freely accessible and very comfortable. I bought some beer from a nearby shop at night and enjoyed a quiet drink by myself. It was a peaceful location despite being in the Thamel area, which was great for relaxing. Also, the reception staff were very friendly and their morning greetings always made my day. Thank you very much.

Nice and quiet Hotel. Rooms is above expectations, the bed was very comfortable, shower has good water pressure with hot&cold water. The property is very clean. The food at the CoffeeHouse was excellent and I had all my meals at the Hotel. Pricing was very reasonable. All the staff were well trained and service was excellent. The staff are very attentive and friendly and polite. They went out of their way to get the zipper of the shoulder bag repaired. I am really very very happy that I chose Mum's Home as the Hotel for my stay. In future should I visit Nepal(Katmandu) again, I will choose Hotel Mum's Home as my First Choice Hotel.

Great location, comfortable lobby. The building where we got an upgraded room had an elevator, and while the room wasn't huge, it was very comfortable. We extended our stay and moved to a building without an elevator. The staff kindly helped us carry our luggage upstairs. They only provide toilet paper, so I recommend bringing your own everyday toiletries.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Mums Home during my Nepal trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring Kathmandu. One of the highlights was the rooftop restaurant, which offers a stunning 360° panoramic view of the city and surrounding mountains. It was the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or unwind in the evening. The staff were exceptionally cooperative, friendly, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Mums Home to anyone visiting Kathmandu. It offers excellent comfort, beautiful views, and outstanding service. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Nepal.

I was very satisfied with my booking this time. It's located at the edge of Thamel, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle, a truly excellent location. The owner was incredibly kind and upgraded my room for free. The room was quite spacious, the bed was soft, and everything was very clean. The rooftop bar/restaurant was very chill. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied!!!

Breakfast had choice of menu , kind and helpful staff, decent room could be noisy at times near the window but lower levels compared to what’s expected in Kathmandu
