Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kathmandu Thamel

We had a lovely stay here & were welcomed with complimentary drinks on arrival. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and genuinely helpful. The spacious, clean rooms had comfortable beds, a full-size window with beautiful views, reading lights, lamps, and a TV with Netflix and YouTube. Breakfast and dinner are served at the ground-floor restaurant, which also has a bakery. The rooftop restaurant and bar has a small 3ft pool and stunning mountain views. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choices, while dinner had fewer options. They even surprised my sister with a cake slice for her birthday, which was a lovely touch. One thing to note: the Z Street entrance is through an alley, so taxis cannot reach the hotel directly. Overall, a solid 9/10.

The rooms are this hotel are very nice. The location is perfect. The service levels are very high. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. In particular, Monika and Besang in the restaurant, Sita and Binita for the cleaning service, and all the security staff. Overall, our stay here was very good. The breakfast is very good, with a nice variety. If I could suggest some improvements, it would be fresh pastries for breakfast and maybe some alternatives to cows milk such as oat or almond milk. The other thing is, the gym needs a total refresh. I recommend staying here. It is a very good offer overall. Thank you for giving us a pleasant stay.

The service is professional and friendly, my room was clean, spacious and modern. The view from my balcony was amazing and the food at both the rooftop restaurant and breakfast buffet was great! It’s in a great location, i highly recommend this hotel.

Really great Hotel. Have nothing to complain. And quite good price as well. Great location; central Thamel but away from the chaos. Good breakfast. Very helpful and friendly F&B, HK and Reception staff. Good rooftop bar next to the pool with great cocktails.
