The office was unmanned upon arrival and had to go looking for staff member. Advertised "free" internet not existent. Ate at restaurant and ordered sweet and sour king prawn fritters. The batter was too thick and not cooked through. Beds were ok but couldn't say they the most comfortable ive slept on. On the plus side water pressure and hot water excellent.

Comfortable and clean rooms, beautiful property, very accommodation owner. I left my iPad there and it was also returned to me!!! would stay again.

Friendly service a nice quiet location backing onto the Macleay River. Very clean with a great comfortable bed. Not sure about the Restaurant as in being opened or closed but did show an open sign as we were driving to another location. The Restaurant also had Christmas decorations on tables and a Christmas Tree. So somewhat confused

We only stayed one night as a passing through town. The family 2 rooms are quite reasonable in size. The cleanliness was reasonable except I needed to wipe off the side table from red gluey stuff. One of the tv did not work. The receptionist was not very friendly, and unable to advise for any nice restaurant in the area. For a passing through motel I would rate it 3 stars.

Great location and very nice and crisp bedding. The apartment overall was a bit 'tired and old' but served the purpose for a 1 night stay over just fine. I must say the river view at the back was beautiful.

Amazing stay. Such humble owners. They have a delicious restaurant on site. Beautiful river on site. Comfortable beds. We LOVED our stay here. Can’t wait to come back again. Sally was so attentive. Smiles all around and so welcoming. Beautiful tranquil location

After a month of travel up and down the Eastern Seaboard which include 11 motels this one is the worst!! It doesn’t deserve its star rating nor worth in any way its cost. 1. Office never manned and when I called the number on door I was exposed to the rudest of manners in both verbal and physical ways. Young person needs a course in PR skills. 2. Room was a mismatch of bits and pieces- no fridge( a very small chiller), no microwave, toilet seat too small for actual toilet, fire alarm made intermittently sharp noise, very shabby overall. I will never visit again. Such a shame given the lovely position on the river bank. 🙄

Booked at the last minute and surprised by the standard. It was a very nice room backing onto the river and quite clean and comfortable. Welcoming and friendly staff. Close to town with an on site restaurant only lacking a couple of biscuits. Other than that all good and I do recommend.

A gem. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Beautiful view of river with tables to enjoy right outside your room. Restaurant on site, best lemon chicken I have had. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend

I enjoyed my time here, despite being just a stopover. very peaceful on the river and comfortable room. Water was hot and good pressure. Parking right in front of my room too, which was very convenient

Room was comfortable but very dated and lacking amenities. There was no microwave, cutlery and the mini fridge was teeny tiny. Lovely spot though, well away from the road, so nice and quiet. Room was clean and linen was fresh. Good for a stop-over stay

A very comfortable motel located on the river. Reasonable size rooms, comfortable bed, clean and great outlook if you get a room on the river side. Helpful reception staff. Missing microwave, crockery and cutlery but can provide if asked for

Old, tired, rundown. It could be so much better. The river out the back is lovely, the garden furniture is in all states of decay, rot, and disrepair. The place seems to be run on a 'this will do' attitude and it shows throughout. In its day I am sure it was beautiful, it's unfortunately far from that now!
