it is amazing place ! beautiful and peaceful ...... very secluded everything that you need you could find in the kitchen if you cook for yourself the only suggestion to the owner to change the bed , too soft and you fall in when you lie on it

Lost in the Woods I can’t say enough about our stay. The home was very clean, the bed, pillows and towels were all very nice. The best part is the location. Secluded with beautiful views gave our family just what we needed this week. Great selection of games, the fire pit was wonderful for roasting smores and the animals visiting the front lawn was a treat. Highly recommended if you are looking for peace and tranquility.

What a beautiful space! It was very clean and the area quite remote. In the mornings, we saw deer and wild turkey. And so many birds! We didn’t hike any any trails, but there was a great guide available in the home that showed the property lines and gave info about the property! It was great for us and our kiddos.

Cozy house in the woods My family and I loved this property! We enjoyed walking around the woods and exploring. The house was well equipped and was really charming. We also loved sightseeing around the near by towns. Definitely a place to come back to stay again.

Did not disappoint! We saw a bevy of wikdlife. Toads, chipmunks and babies, a wild turkey, woodchuck or beaver, and deer. The views were great and the kitchen was actually quite accommodating. Book it today!

Privacy, character, good taste, and convenience We greatly enjoyed our weekend in splendid isolation within this spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable and well appointed house. The living room is larger than it appears in the pictures, and there are games, puzzles, and books in good condition. The separately controlled baseboard heat in the bathroom is a nice touch. The kitchen is spacious and well appointed, and there are plenty of outlets throughout the house despite it being originally an older house. John was very responsive to our questions. Overall, we highly recommend. questionsdesphouse

Great getaway in the Woods! This place was a great place for us to stay on our vacation. Secluded outside of the city, and a short drive down a gravel road, it really feels that you're lost in the woods, but in a good way. If you're up to visit the Gunks, Angry Orchard, the Hudson river, love the beauty of the outdoors, and have other family or friends to visit in the area, definitely consider this home. Host was very responsive and had everything ready for us.
