"1/5 We arrived and stayed the night, the next morning we had breakfast, the woman serving us asked for our room number I said the room number and that was that. As we were checking out they charged us an EXTRA €30 for breakfast, nothing was said to us about breakfast not being included in the price, not at the check in desk on the the first day and not even when we were sitting down. I am utterly disgusted with how this happened, if it had been said it wouldn’t have been a problem, this caused my pregnant fiancé who was with me a lot of distress with the manner it was dealt with. I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN"

"In a beautiful part of Southern Ireland this very modern yet very comfortable house was a delight. Not the easiest place to get to but well worth it with views across the sea. our hostess was very friendly and obliging. My advice would be to get there from Wednesday onwards as Murphy’s restaurant within walking distance which is highly recommended, only does light bites on Monday and Tuesday. However O’Connor’s , only 6 minutes drive away was a quaint little pub, catering mainly for walkers."

"The service in this hotel is very poor, starting with breakfast. We paid 25 Euros per person per day. The hotel has an à la carte buffet. We ordered two salmon meals, but after all the restaurant guests' meals were served, ours did not come. After we negotiated with the hotel waiter many times, two salmon meals were finally served, like begging for food. When we came back from outside at night, we found that the room was not cleaned. We had no clean towels, bath towels, or toilet paper. We called the front desk, but no one answered the phone. Fortunately, Ctrip customer service helped us and we finally got clean towels, bath towels and toilet paper."

"David and Doreen were wonderful hosts in this lovely Bed and Breakfast. The Tides, located in Ballybunion, is close to the ocean and not far from the interesting town of Listowel. The Tides is also a great base for exploring the Dingle peninsula, and even the Ring of Kerry. The amazing shower and comfortable bed in room 6 are simply wonderful!, and the breakfast is gorgeous! Don't hesitate to book your stay here!"
