Our daughter paid for my husband and me for an overnight stay to celebrate my birthday. The room had a small net curtain and blackout blind with a view of Skiddaw, which she had paid for. Someone must have dropped something down the toilet as the bowl was cracked. We went into town for our evening meal and looked forward to the breakfast which had also been paid for. When we got to the dining room we were told there was no hot food but we could have Continental breakfast, the man saying it was not his fault as it was not his hotel. We decided to check out as there was no reason to stay. On doing so,a girl on reception was very apologetic and promised a refund within 30 days. As a result of this,we went to Booths supermarket and had breakfast there which was fine. I shall not visit this hotel again.

Great location and rooms modern clean and comfortable and you know what you’re getting. We found great value for money and staff helpful and responsive we had a issue with our car parking ticket one day & although carpark does not belong to them they found a solution 👍

My daughter booked this for one of our Xmas presents. Arrived told floor 3. My daughter said premium plus were on second. Receptionist said oh you have not got that room as people stayed on. We are here now and I will be on to customer service in the morning as not interested at Keswick prem in. Bites on floor sock behind chair. No fridge no coffee machine no water or chocolates. My daughter is dicusted . She says they should have emailed her as she booked this room. We have stayed in prem inns for years. The other weekend Manchester prem plus. Great. I will see what the outcome is of this.

Due to a visit to A & E we checked in very late 1:30am. Staff were very kind and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. They changed the room to an easy acess so I could have a walk in shower too. Hotel is quite new and rooms are nice with a view of the mountains. Parking is limited and £12 a night. Will book again and recommend.

Noisey room. Uncomfy bed. Room 230.Nice location. Great views from all rooms, Poor housekeeping. Best to go to Cockermouth Premier Inn. Suggest you Park up road by petrol station for free. Avoid £12 per night fee. Lots of complimentary tea bags coffee in reception

This is a newly built premier inn and its location is absolutely fantastic for the centre of Keswick and likewise for the DerwentWater Lake walk. The rooms are decent…. The biggest let down the staff it’s massively under staffed and some of the workers truly don’t care about the place or the customers. 2 of the staff were genuine diamonds and they were named Kevin and Louise in fact if Louise hadn’t stayed back off nights to cook us breakfast we wouldn’t of had any as the chef hadn’t turned in for his shift. It’s a serviceable hotel but the lack of staff and the lack of service does let it down. A real shame coz this could be truly fantastic…..

Stay was okay . Room clean but next to exit so quite noisy with being next to stairs . Breakfast , disappointing as hardly any left . The chef said he had run out of sausages and mushrooms at 9am ! Overall don’t think we will be rushing back . Had to park over the road (pencil museum) as car park too busy and not enough spaces.

As always for a premier inn. Good room and comfy bed. We only stayed the one night. We booked the meal deal that was very disappointing very little choice. We both had fish and chips it certainly didn't look anything like the photograph in our room. The portion was so small it was lost on the plate. The dessert choices were just as bad.
