The Artist House

Great hotel, near free parking space. Really useful.

We stayed this past weekend (5/7 to 5/10) My wife and I ave been to Key West many times and I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the Artist House. Sophie and Lisa were our hosts and both were very pleasant and bent over backwards to take care of any requests. Now this is an old charming house and a bed and breakfast, not a hotel. I felt like I was reliving my youth at my grandparents house in the Irish Channel part of New Orleans. So if you want fancy modern, this might not be the place for you. But my wife and I absolutely loved it, we stayed in the Eugene Suite. To compare it to our last stay at the Duval house, it just felt different, more homey I guess. I liked that the breakfast was different every morning which was cool. What was also really great was that they have a free Happy Hour (Beer, wine and soft drinks) with munchies everyday. The cozy garden /pool area is perfect for relaxing, eating breakfast and enjoying happy Hour. To sum it up this place was great, a block and a half off of Duvall Street in the heart of old town! PERFECT! Thanks Artist House!

Great place to stay! Easy walk from the Key West Express Terminal and many local attractions. Breakfast was fantastic. The staff were really nice and helpful. We plan to stay here again!

The second most photographed house in Key West is a dream to stay in for the night, the weekend, or more. Lisa was very friendly and worked hard to make sure everyone felt welcome. Their daily happy hour is great on the outside patio. The neighborhood is not far from Duval and Mallory Square-both are must see evening locations. Judy Blume owns the bookstore across the street, so the K-12 teacher in my thought that was really cool.

The room was amazing! The staff (Sophia and Sean) were like family. Parking was an issue, but it's Key West so we get it.

The room was so beautiful amd clean. The staff was so personable and gave such extra warmth and care to making our stay wonderful and welcoming. Great breakfast and tea. All staff members were so amazing. We loved staying at this wonderul bed and breakfast.
