Hotel Villa AoKhanom Beachfront

The staff were lovely and provided excellent service. The rooms were clean, and the hotel itself was beautiful and right on the beach. The kids absolutely loved it! We stayed for two nights and there was even a golf cart to take us to the viewpoints.

I was very disappointed during my stay. An unexpected incident occurred where the hotel had a power outage, causing the air conditioning in my room to stop working from 5 AM until morning. This forced us to check out quickly and we couldn't fully enjoy the morning atmosphere because the AC wasn't working. The hotel compensated us with a bottle of wine, but I feel it doesn't make up for the inconvenience. I was very upset; I would have preferred the hotel to change our room rather than just giving us wine. However, the ambiance, cleanliness, and location were excellent, and the staff provided great service. It's just the AC issue that was a big letdown, especially since we traveled all the way from Bangkok, paid for flights, and a high-priced room, only to be disappointed by the air conditioning.
