Kosa Hotel & Wellness Center, Khon Kaen — A Well-Maintained Classic with Excellent Service We stayed at the Kosa Hotel & Wellness Center in Khon Kaen from Friday through Sunday, booking a Deluxe Double Room with breakfast via Trip.com. Though this is one of the city’s older hotels, it’s impressively well-maintained and continuously improved. The attentive staff, excellent cleanliness, and quality amenities made for a very pleasant stay. Highlights and Impressions From the moment of arrival, the hospitality stood out. The team greeted us warmly, and the bell staff were quick to assist with luggage and loading or unloading the car. Overflow parking is conveniently located in a nearby covered structure, and a small shuttle cart is available if needed. Our Deluxe Double Room was spotless and comfortable. Linens and towels were clean and in great shape, and the room felt freshly updated. A newly installed 43” Samsung Smart TV worked perfectly for streaming via Fire Stick, and the walk-in shower provided strong water pressure and consistent hot water. Toiletries included shampoo, body wash, shower cap, and cotton swabs. The only downside was that slippers were unavailable during our stay. Breakfast offered a satisfying variety with a made-to-order egg station, boiled eggs, fresh salads, and a mix of Thai and Western items. The salad was crisp and fresh, though the butter substitute and instant coffee were a bit disappointing. Espresso and cappuccino drinks are available for an additional charge. The pool area is inviting but lacks enough lounge chairs — a small improvement that would make a big difference. The fitness center, however, was excellent, featuring modern, well-maintained machines, cardio and weight equipment, and a designated space for stretching or boxing. The wellness center provides great value as well — a relaxing 90-minute foot massage costs only 240 baht (about $7.50). The room was spacious, almost excessively so, leaving quite a bit of unused space. While two chairs are provided, a small sofa or lounge would make the room feel more complete. It balances old-school Thai hospitality with modern amenities and excellent value for money. Old but very comfortable hotel. Nice big bed. Close to all the nightlife. Staff were friendly!

Strategic location in Khon Kaen City Center. Hotel is quite dated but still very good and refurbished. Staff is really happy to help and support what you need. Basic gym and swimming pool. Some facilities are out of order. Decent breakfast. Room is good and functional.

Great location, attentive service and spacious room. As regular yearly visitors, we are satisfied the high standard have been maintained throughout the years. Only drawback is the breakfast options are quite limited (no yoghurt, bacon, fresh juice, tabasco sauce)

I expected the room to be clean, I found hair beside the bed and the bathtub. The traffics is quite jam as the construction going on around that time. Others are nice.

The Kosa hotel had a feeling of being a little on the older side, but the facility was very clean and comfortable. The folks and reception were extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was a little small, but everything functioned well and we got a good nights sleep. The breakfast buffet was a little generic and underwhelming, but adequate. As I was just passing through town, I only had the need to stay one night, so I can’t say much more.

Kosa is such an old, dingy and outdated place that somehow claims to be 3 or 4 stars! The breakfast buffet is just mediocre and tasteless. The room amenities are terrible. There was only one power outlet in my room and it was not even near the bed! The place is showing how old it is, but instead of first fixing the guest rooms, they are working on the lobby to impress visitors. Once you see the room, you want to check out.

WiFi is too bad, too slow, too weak, only a little signal, so I have to use my phone's network

It is great hotel in a central location walking distance to bars food. The building is old and rooms show that but is kept clean and tidy. The kids loved the swimming pool only let down was food ordered a rib eye steak came up with a lump of meat nothing like rib eye but full of unchewable fat and not cheap. Would I stay there again the answer is no for that price there a lot of options very close to this location which have far more going for them

Terrible Customer Service – Only Care About Money I had a very frustrating experience with this hotel. The staff were completely unhelpful and refused to modify my booking, even though I reached out in time. They showed no understanding or flexibility at all. It felt like they only cared about taking my money—not about helping a customer in need. Their attitude was rude, unprofessional, and showed no mercy or willingness to assist. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful or reliable customer service. Stay away if you value basic hospitality.
