Montana Landhotel Gummersbach-Nord

Wir haben uns in diesem Montana Landhotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Service war hervorragend. Reichhaltiges gutes Frühstück lies keine Wünsche offen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Zum Schwimmen bietet sich das Hallenbad gut an und wer mag kann auch die Sauna nutzen.

Simply bad! Arrival at 2 p.m.: hotel entrance door locked. There's a phone number on the door. Phone call. The person called explains that there are milk jugs to the right of the front door and that the envelope with the house and room keys is in them. There is also a form in the envelope that must be filled out and signed for check-in. There is no elevator in the hotel. So if you have heavy luggage or are disabled, you have a problem. Arrived at the room I found a completely dirty, untidy room from my room predecessor…. Called again and complained. 5 p.m.: The room has now been cleaned and tidied up. About the room: Just ok for one night, but very small bathroom and everything very poorly soundproofed... In summary: A hotel that is not manned at the reception all the time, deals sloppily with reservations and offers at most mid-range rooms is not worth the room price.

The hotel itself is nice with well-kept grounds, simple, clean rooms with a balcony or terrace, friendly staff, good breakfast, and even a swimming pool. I also noticed the width of the bed in the single room positively, probably 1.20 meters compared to the usual 1.00 meters. So far all good! But my rating is so low for the following reasons: 1) I slept very badly because I didn't lie very well on the mattress, which is certainly more a reflection of individual feelings. However, the large, thick pillow made it even more difficult to lie down. A second, smaller and softer pillow could easily help in my opinion. 2) Even if the statutory provisions on the Corona rules have largely fallen away, I would have liked to see more precautionary measures here: there is a dispenser with disinfectant in the entrance area and a large Plexiglas pane at the reception, both of which are completely fine with me. However, I didn't like the processes in the breakfast room at all: I think it's reasonable that the breakfast buffet is either protected by plexiglass walls (open at the bottom like at the reception) or the guests wear masks when they go to the buffet. But especially I think I can reasonably be expected that the employees in the breakfast room should continue to wear FFP2 masks and thus contribute to protection against infection! There are still people who are at increased risk due to their age and/or previous illnesses. It is important that these people are also in a Hotel felt safe and secure Without these two points of criticism, which I believe can be remedied with little effort and at low cost, it would have easily been four stars.

Onderweg gebeld voor een 2 persoonskamer voor 1 nacht, 2 personen en 2 honden. Dat kon. Voor 99,00 euro kregen we de familiekamer. Ontbijt erbij genomen want dat was erg goed zei de vriendelijke receptionist. 12,50 p.p.Nou niet dus, ver beneden peil. We waren om kwart voor 9 de enigen en de laatste in de ontbijtzaal. Geen vleeswaren meer alleen kaas en koud ei. Het hotel is inderdaad vergane glorie. Kamer was stoffig.douche niet echt schoon. op de vraag of we konden dineren toen we aan kwamen zei hij nee u kunt alleen een pizza bestellen bij mij, niet dineren. We konden ook alleen een flesje fris of bier bij hem bestellen en buiten opdrinken. Wel een tip dat we 10 minuten verderop konden eten. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar Nog geen 3 sterren. Ontbijt prima,veel lekkere keuzen ook goede koffie en sapjes mooi uitzicht. Wel hele warme kamers je kan vanuit hier goed lopen of fietsen.wifi werkt totaal niet en dat in deze tijd tank hier tegenover sochtends dan is de prijs lager . Shoppen in Gummersbach
