My husband and I stayed at this hotel in November 2024. We have something to compare with - joali, one & only. I'll note right away - the staff tries very hard, everything is very sensitive, the service is exactly the way you want it. During the trip, I was pregnant, the hotel immediately took this into account, the butler Zaheen was attentive, but unobtrusive. Special thanks to him, he upgraded our villa to a family villa. My husband compared this hotel with the previous ones for a long time - by the end of the trip he realized that there was simply nothing to complain about. So, about the hotel - this is an Asian chain of luxury hotels. The island itself can be walked around in 20 minutes at a fast pace, leisurely - 40 minutes. Very green, periodically treated against mosquitoes, so the living creatures are birds and flying foxes. The reef is the best! You leave your room - and already under water there is a whole oceanarium. Deeper - manta rays, rays, sharks, turtles. The villas are spacious, everything is there, the room is cleaned twice, everything is replenished without problems. Food: everything is there for breakfast, every day is themed, by type of cuisine. Several restaurants, we liked the Italian one. Very decent, because Michelin chefs work in this hotel chain. We had dinner with a Michelin chef - yes, everything is as it should be. There is an underwater restaurant Ikra - they add black caviar to all dishes, not sparing, with a slide) very atmospheric). There is also an open bar-lounge area. Very beautiful, modern. The main pride of the hotel is the planetarium. Unfortunately, we did not get there, because the climate in the Maldives has clearly changed, the second year in a row at the end of November there is still a monsoon season, everything is fine, but in 2 weeks there were 4 sunny days. Although in terms of the cost of the hotel - already high season. In the center of the island - activities. There is a small gym, a yoga area, boxing, a tennis court, and family entertainment - badminton, table tennis. And so on. The spa is considered one of the best. That's for sure. The feeling of a water house is different from that of a sand house, but the underwater scenery in the sea around this island is really not very good. What I want most when staying in a water house is to open the door and jump into the sea for snorkeling, but this island is different from the one I stayed at last time. Compared with the island, the snorkeling scenery is really much worse. Friends who like snorkeling do not recommend this hotel.
