Hotel R9 the Yard Kikuchi ★★★
"The toilet is too small and you can hear every door opening and closing next door."
Iwakura ★★
"The private semi-open-air bath is a must-have! The environment is beautiful, built along the stream, and the facilities are mainly made of natural wood products, flowers and plants, and are antique. The rooms are functionally spaced and equipped with a private semi-open-air bath. The accommodation and two meals are very delicious. If you plan to visit Kikuchi Valley, it is definitely the best choice!"
Kikuchi Sasanoya ★★
"It is a tatami room in the style of a traditional Japanese ryokan. Both breakfast and dinner are kaiseki and Japanese home-style, and although it is not very high-class, it is okay. In particular, since it is a hot spring hotel, the water was good. I took a hot spring every morning and evening and it was refreshing. Overall, the bedroom, hot spring, meals, and facilities are average."
Hotel Kona ★★★
"It was far from the place I stayed during this time and was made by renovating the former 々 apartment and was a hotel suitable for the price. I think it is a hotel that sold cheapness."
Mochizuki Ryokan ★★★
"It was a Japanese-style room with a hot spring bath. The public bath is nice, but having one in the room was the best, as I could use it multiple times a day. The quality of the spring water was very good and it was very creamy, making my skin smooth. It was also a hot spring inn that I would like to visit if I have the chance."
Hotel & Monthly Kikuchi
Kikuchi Onsen Houraikan ★★
"Very cozy traditional river. Hospitable hosts, beautiful traditional breakfast. Right in the hotel your hot source. Want to see real Japan? You here. There is no Western glamour and modern super convenience, but there is a real spirit of Japan."
Seiryuso ★★★
"This hot spring inn is located in Kikuchi Onsen. It also offers drop-in bathing, and the family bath seems very popular. I stayed here this time. While the building and rooms are generally dated, both the indoor and outdoor baths are filled with alkaline simple spring water, which flows freely without adding water or heating, making it very nice. The design of the outdoor bath and the detached building in particular are reminiscent of Kurokawa Onsen and other hidden hot spring inns, making it a very pleasant experience. Dinner and breakfast are also outstanding for an inn of this class. We were able to enjoy them in a private room. Considering the price, this is a very satisfying inn."
Kikuchi Kanko Hotel ★★★
"I went there expecting to find many manga books, as pictured on their website, but there weren't many. The hot springs were great, though."
