I spent one night at this place as a stopover on my way to Kilkenny, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my room, at an affordable price. Kilcullen is a nice little town, with a very pleasant walk along the river, and there is easy access to the motorway.

Stayed one night and was very impressed. The room was nicely decorated, clean and large. Large bathroom with good shower and toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities and a fan if needed. Comfortable bed. No breakfast, but a little cafe the a few doors away was good. Very good value for money.

A great value. Nice rooms for the price. Comfortable beds and friendly service from all. Convenient to have a pub right downstairs. I would stop here but for some reason TripAdvisor insists on 200 characters so I guess I’ll keep typing until

Very pleasant welcome and delicious food and drinks. Stayed in the White Room which was nice apart from a badly stained carpet. There was a strange fan switched on which seemed to be extracting the oily and stale food smells from the kitchen, directly into the room. It was very unpleasant and disturbed our sleep. There was no-one around to report this to in the morning.

Nicely renovated set of rooms. But several issues for our stay. First, had to pay in advance by phone before arrival. No presence on site, you get your keys from safety boxes in front of the door. Then, you should avoid the area on Monday and Tuesday nights. The rooms are attached to the Bardons bar and grill, which has excellent rating on TA by the way. Unfortunately, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays until further notice. And no advance information given (traveler notice in the room even mentioning 7 days opening). And there is not a single restaurant open in the town. We had to drive 30 minutes to find a decent place for dinner. Lastly, the Black Room, definitely a nice decorated room, with a very good king bed. Is located just above a cheap kebab takeaway. And the oily smell is very persistent in the room. Definitely not possible for a long stay. Luckily, we had a short night only. All in all, extremely disappointed by our stay, given the previous ratings on TA.

Located above the bar, we were hesitant....when we saw the rooms we were happily delighted. Clean, freshly decorated and roomy. It was convenient to just walk down the stairs to the bar/restaurant for dinner. Owner Lianne and Manager Yvonne were super nice and accomodating.

A perfect end to dinner in the bar below. Very comfortable accommodation and first class in comfort and absolutely spotless. Crisp bed linen and nice and warm. Connected to Netflix on the TV for a relaxing night after a long drive. Good shower and crisp white bath towels, tea and coffee in our room also. We had the best night sleep away from home, extremely comfortable beds, no expense spared in the rooms . Tastefully done and I'd 100 per cent book in again should I be in the area.
