"A must of you are visiting the Kenyan Kilifi County coast, and even if you live in the area like I do, this is a great Staycation. thurs nights are super cool with Jam nights, featuring creative, authentic African music - always different as its improv. The forest location is so relaxing, artwork adorns the property and great food too. rooms are basic but fine, with a shared toilet block, so good value as one isn't in the room much anyway. Great for digital nomads, and there is even a private quiet meeting room for remote meetings. Great vibes in a fun and multi cultural setting!"

"The good reviews are all from quite long time ago. Now, I could see why for myself. The state of this place nowadays is an impudence. If you arrive half of the amenities are not working, old, broken, mouldy and rusty. At the same time they charge you as if they were a luxury place. Later I found a place in Kilifi for less money which was actually new and much nicer. If you order food you get tiny portions at double the price from restaurants in town which will actually be four times the price as you`re gonna have to order a second portion to fill your stomach/achieve a normal portion. The owner herself is a terribly unfriendly woman and a liar. I can only recommend: Stay away from that place."
