Best Hotels near Marylake Augustinian Monastery, King City

I actually stayed at this hotel the night after my wedding with my new wife. It was really a great experience, the hotel was clean, service was good, they are complementary water. The rooms were spacious, modern with multiple TVs. Check out and check and we’re easy, seamless. Hotel breakfast is a bit pricey at $27 per person.

The room condition was terrible I had to move out aftery first stay. They had this moldy smell and the sheet and curtain was uncomfortable.

I'm here with my family. The facilities seemed to be a bit old, but were relieved to be clean. But the staff were not friendly when checking in. I think it's a restaurant in the lobby on the ground floor because there are no guests. Just the atmosphere of the hotel was dark. As if the door is closing soon ...; The heater was old and it was a little noisy when the temperature was raised. I'm a little worried about whether I can sleep well. But the bed is completely satisfied. I'd be fine if I tie it up here on a business trip.

My wife and I recently spent three nights at the TownPlace Suites hotel in Markham, Ontario. We booked the room with our Bonvoy points, so I can’t comment on price. Markham is a suburb about 15 miles north of Toronto. We picked this location since it was near relatives we were visiting. It’s located on a fairly busy highway with various commercial businesses nearby. There is a Chinese restaurant (QJD Peking Duck), which we did not visit, on the first floor. The thirteen-story building actually holds two Marriott properties: Courtyard by Marriott on floors 2 - 8 and TownPlace on floors 9 - 14. The registration desk serves both hotels. The lobby has several areas for socializing. There also is a Bistro/Bar area. Conference rooms, a business center and a spa are off to the side. A fitness center and indoor pool are on the lower level. Wifi is free. Surprisingly, parking is not. Signs say that it costs $6 Canadian per day to park in the attached multi-level garage, but we apparently were not charged. Check-in was courteous and efficient. You need your keycard to access the elevator. TIP: There is no 13th floor; the elevator buttons go from 12 to 14! We were assigned room 915. TIP: the room was almost across the hall from the ice machine and one wall of the room directly abutted the elevator bank. While the noise was neglible, you might want to keep this in mind if you’re a very light sleeper. The room was clean and decorated in what I would call ikea style. It was like living in a studio apartment. A flat screen TV was on a two-drawer chest/dresser. A wall-mounted desk had overhead shelving, a vertical cupboard, desk chair and rollout table. The kitchen section had a sink, two-burner electric range top, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher (!) and fairly large refrigerator. There were multiple cabinets and drawers filled with practically every kitchen item you’d need: pots, pans, dishes, flatware, soap, etc. And if they’re still something you might need, chances are you can get it from the front desk. (See pic.) A full-size closet contained an iron/ironing board. No sign of a safe. The sitting area contained a loveseat, ottoman and floor lamp. The king-size bed had five pillows. The bed was a little soft, but comfortable. It was flanked by nightstands and wall-mounted lamps with electric outlets. 
The bathroom was average-sized. The vanity had lots of counter space and several drawers. And a hair dryer. The shower was quite large, taking up about a third of the room. There was wall-mounted hand soap and hair/body wash (in the shower) by ALICE & Co+ botanicals. Shower pressure and temperature were fine. TIP: Don’t be alarmed when you flush the toilet - the sound is comparable to that generated by an airplane commode. Breakfast was included with the room and was served on the 14th floor. Great location and service. Purpose of our trip was to relax and have some good Chinese food. Hotel is right on Highway 7, walking distance to several malls with many restaurants. Short driving to more restaurants and shopping. Best Western is connected to Sheraton and we had to check in at the Sheraton desk. Tiffany was awesome. Her sunshine smile made us feel very welcome. Check-in was quick and she’s attentive to our questions. We’re happy that we asked her about nearby restaurants because those she recommended were all good. Staff at the gym were friendly and helpful too. Our room has 2 queen size beds and pretty roomy. We like the white sheets so we can tell they’re very clean. The only not as good experience is about the parking lot. The Leslie Street exit near Tim Hortons is a dangerous spot for pedestrians. Cars merge from 3 directions to exit + cars pulling into the lot. We had to dodge cars a few times. A couple STOP signs to direct traffic within the lot may help.

This hotel was very easy to book through Titanium elite services. They made the process very easy and gave us a nice upgrade. They were very helpful with accommodating with the suite that offers a small full kitchen including dishwasher, silverware, microwave, regular size fridge, kitchen sink, coffee maker Lots of living room space and tv in living-room and bedroom. Easy for parking. They have space outside for large F250 trucks since a truck won’t fit in their covered parking.

Safe Secure sanitized Pristine Facilities. Very Friendly Front Desk staff...Ivy was as amazing as ever wearing full protective face mask and gloves. So happy pool and fitness center were open. Took a open shared shower each time before swimming. So quickly squeezed bikini dry after shower and put it back on. Pizza Nova Delivery is placed in hallway so no touch service. 305 is a 2 room suite with Whirlpool separate to vanity area. Beautyrest Signature Matress gave the best ride of my life and provided a deep quiet sleep. Will be back late October and Early November for additional electrifying recharging. Housekeeping knocked yr door every 8:30am, even though u hv put the ‘No, service’ card outside the door on the check out date. It is insane.

It is a very suitable hotel for a staycation. Although the hotel does not have a breakfast room, there is a Starbucks in the lobby. You can get a $10 Starbucks voucher every day you stay in the hotel. You can just report your room number at the Starbucks counter. It is very convenient. In addition, there are Tim Hortons and Liu next to the hotel. Yishou hot pot is really convenient right under your nose👍👍The room linens and service attitude are impeccable. If you have to find fault, then the roar from the toilet when flushing is too scary (I tested it in Ottawa/Vancouver/Toronto) Both Sheraton and Westin are like this) The sound is as loud as flushing the toilet on the plane. I wake up when I get up at night, hahaha
