The Motel 6 in King City, California, is more or less average. Price was okay, Check-in easy. Room was good equiped and clean. Mattress could be better and walls are thin. We were able to understand every single word from TV next room. But overall it was okay for one night.

On the road and quick stop to rest… Reserve two beds. Get to the counter . the guy says.“ you only reserve for one person.” .. $21 extra!! That’s the first thing he says… lol . kind of weird…. an oversight on me on the app .. but the room I got stated two beds. I checked the app just curious and I re-reserved this room stating two people and there was no $21 extra charge .. scam! Got suckered . This is first time traveling I’ve have encountered this $21 extra… .. the amenities in this property are dated very dated. Bring your Shampoo  there is only two pieces of soap that they provide and the bare minimum of towels . I’ve stayed at many motel 6 on the road… always straightforward get to the point places to rest.. .. maybe it is just the franchisee that run their motel is different..

Right next to the ‘cop shop’ so you know you’re safe. No real area to take your pet for morning relief but located next to a neighborhood that led to a park (7-10 min walk). Zero dog parks in king city and strict leash laws. Heavy police presence here so do the speed limit and keep Fido leashed:/ Staff was nice and helpful and coffee in morn:)

This motel six was disgusting found a used condom on the side of the bed spider web in shower with about 30 babies in it the pillows were horrible and a bandaid stuck to the shower wall very upset
