When we were looking for accommodation in Kinmen, I wasn't sure I wanted to book a B&B. Looking at the accommodation available in Kinmen, it seems the majority are B&B and homestays. After having stayed at Zhu Shan Gandee, we finally realised that a good number of the traditional buildings in many of the ”villages” have been converted into accommodation. This one was in the Zhu Shan village where there are other B&Bs. There are no shops or restaurants in this village but downtown Jincheng is only a short drive away. This village is really nice and quiet (as would others I am guessing) and Zhu Shan Park is just a short stroll behind the house from which a top view of the village can be seen. Strolling around the village, this house stands out as more modern and attractive and the nicest in presentation (in my humble opinion). Inside, the common areas are excellent, well presented and homely. There are 2 courtyards to relax in and their atmospheres are so welcoming. We were out most of the time so didn't really spend too much time indoors enjoying what was on offer. Our room was a tad small but we love having a bidet to use. The bed was comfortable. A simple bread and jam breakfast is available if you choose to have it. There is plenty of ”help yourself” bottled and packet drinks in the fridge and in boxes on the floor if you don't want to drink them cold along with make yourself tea and coffee. There are no cooking facilities but there is a microwave. Finally, the lady host is really helpful and awesome. We rented a car so didn't need to be picked up. But she would go out of her way to ensure your stay is most comfortable and enjoyable. That hospitality personified.

What impressed me most was that both beds were equally comfortable—no one had to compromise or settle for the “lesser” option. The hotel clearly pays attention to detail, ensuring every guest enjoys the same level of luxury. The room layout was practical yet stylish. There was ample space between the beds, allowing us to move freely without feeling cramped. A well‑placed desk provided a convenient spot to catch up on emails or jot down travel notes, while the seating area offered a cozy corner to relax with a cup of tea. The lighting was warm and adjustable, creating a welcoming atmosphere whether we wanted to read, work, or simply unwind. Cleanliness was impeccable. The housekeeping team maintained the room to the highest standard, with fresh towels, spotless surfaces, and a bathroom that gleamed. The bathroom itself was modern, equipped with a powerful shower, quality toiletries, and plenty of counter space. It felt more like a spa than a standard hotel washroom, adding an extra layer of indulgence to our stay. Noise insulation was another pleasant surprise. Despite being in a bustling city, the room was wonderfully quiet. We slept soundly each night without disturbance, which made a huge difference in how refreshed we felt each morning. The air conditioning system was efficient yet unobtrusive, keeping the temperature perfect without any distracting hum. Service throughout the stay was consistently excellent. Staff members were attentive, friendly, and eager to help, whether it was arranging transportation, offering local recommendations, or simply greeting us with a smile. Their professionalism elevated the experience and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Location also deserves mention. The hotel is situated conveniently close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, yet the room itself felt like a peaceful retreat away from the city’s hustle. It struck the ideal balance between accessibility and tranquility. In summary, the twin room provided everything we hoped for and more: comfort, cleanliness, thoughtful design, and outstanding service. It was the perfect choice for two travelers seeking both privacy and shared enjoyment. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, whether they are visiting for business, leisure, or a combination of both. The twin room is proof that luxury and practicality can coexist seamlessly, and it turned our trip into an experience we will fondly remember.

Very comfortable hostel in Kinmen. The uncle is very lively and likes to drink. Kinmen is very fun, go to the beach, there is lots of delicious food

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and it was pretty good. The price was reasonable, but the location was a bit out of the way. The service was also good. I met some nice friends in the lobby and chatted with them; it was a very pleasant experience.

A very quiet and clean neighborhood with a great location. Cosmed and Poya are right outside, and it's super convenient to get to Jincheng Old Street. The owner is incredibly nice, I'll definitely come again.
