"The room carpet is not clean and the furniture is very old"
Actons Hotel Kinsale
The Blue Haven Hotel
"Ok firstly , no elevator so my elderly wife with a cane had to constantly struggle her way up and down the stairs . Second the main desk staff was extremely rude to us , thirdly we had to demand that our room be cleaned because nobody seemed bothered to do so , food downstairs was overpriced, poor quality and small and made me feel sick Fourthly , our rooms had no functioning air conditioning so we were roasting , Fifth we were on the second floor and could still hear the loud music coming from the bar downstairs making us get 0 sleep for the entirety of our stay Six , we were promised a decent sized room only to get shoved into a shoebox with a broken and loud toilet"
The White Lady Hotel
Garda House
"Ah, the sweet sting of dashed hopes. This place, a beacon of mediocrity nestled oh-so-conveniently in the heart of town, promised much but delivered the bare minimum (and by minimum, we mean grime). The towels, bless their threadbare souls, wouldn't dry a cat's paw. Dust bunnies frolicked freely, and the décor screamed "thrift store chic" (emphasis on cheap). A symphony of dysfunction awaited in the bathroom: the washing machine, a monument to futility, the sink spewing only cold indifference. A shower with the auditory charm of a jet engine and a lingering scent of sewage added to the ambiance. The cupboards, a treasure trove of forgotten detritus, held tea and coffee so stale they might be considered historical artifacts. All in all, a stellar choice for those seeking a taste of neglect and a complete disregard for the concept of hospitality."
The Old Bank Town House
"We had a lovely stay at Old Town Kinsale. The hotel was very nice, comfortable, and welcoming. A special thanks to Jude at reception, who was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. After I accidentally left some personal belongings behind, she arranged to have them posted back to me quickly and without any hassle. Excellent customer service and greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jude!"
