Perfect Perfect,clean ,cosy well maintained.

Staff were very friendly especially Bethany when we checked in, she took time so show us where to park and where the best places to eat were. Room was clean and comfortable, and had jockey paraphernalia in the entrance hall which I enjoyed being a horse racing fan! The bar itself does not do any food and we arrived about 9:30pm and really struggled to get anything to eat, in the end the Thai restaurant cooked a meal for us but we were the only ones in there so it felt a bit awkward.

Perfect overnight stay ,with the friendliest staff Very comfortable overnight stay ,very good value ,Emily and Beth made me feel,very welcome and great ale in the bar with table service !! Will stay again

Food and Drink weekend This is our second visit, the room was a good size with everything we could need. All the staff were very helpful. A good selection of drinks at the bar. I would definitely recommend this as a base for a weekend.

This is a very popular town centre bar with small rooms (no breakfast). They have done well with limited resources. Bed comfortable, good shower, room clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms overlook the courtyard where people drink and eat (pizzas etc) but goes quiet after 9.30. But room small (no wardrobe or chest of drawers). Mould on bathroom ceiling and round shower. The big problem is a bright green security light which cannot be turned off. Owners told previous complainants that it was a health and safety requirement, but we found it difficult to sleep. Previous guests had evidently tried to cover the light with cardboard. Unless you like sleeping with good sleep masks, or want to risk finding a way to cover the light we would not recommend.
