Hotels near JR Abeyama Koen Station, Kitakyushu

The biggest feature is that it is right next to the station. It has a strategic location. When you exit the station, turn right and get off the overpass and turn right. You will be there in two minutes. It is very convenient. There is Matsumoto Kiyoshi Pharmacy and McDonald's right next to it. There are a lot of restaurants within two minutes' walk. It's cheap, good quality, and quite cost-effective.

I went to Kitakyushu for a meeting and chose this four-star hotel. Although the hotel rooms are relatively small and the facilities are old, the environment inside and outside the hotel is great and the rooms are clean and tidy. My room is on the seventh floor. When I open the window, I can see the Japanese garden downstairs. It's a great experience. The breakfast at the hotel was also great. The hotel is very close to the subway station, vegetable market and commercial street. It only takes five or six minutes to walk, which is very convenient. The price is also relatively moderate. I hope to stay at this hotel next time I come!

I loved everything about the guest house. Our own lockers and storage were perfect, the living room was so homey it felt like a living room. People were nice and spoke Japanese as well as English. I came to japan looking for a full, immersive experience and this was the perfect place. Fun location next to markets, bars, food, close to Kokura castle and the river walk. To me, it’s a better way to experience japan instead of a hostel where everyone only speaks English, and you might forget you’re traveling in another country. I loved it, for me it was home.

I called because of the change of check-in time. There is a drink bar in front of the front desk, but only lemon water (room temperature), barley tea (room temperature), coffee machine (regular and American) and tea (tea pack). There is no juice system. There are stick sugar and milk. You can also use the hot water pot and microwave freely. Ice machine is installed, but it is not available because of the corona. There are about 30 old manga that are all-you-can-read comics like in an old ramen shop. It's not the content that you bother to put on the website. The room was semi-double but full of beds. There is no choice but to put your luggage on the floor and there is no place to walk more and more. The electric kettle is a type that can be insulated and this is convenient. If I was looking for a refrigerator, it was quietly under the counter, but it didn't get cold at all. In winter, it's still colder to put it by the window. There was a PET bottle of water in the refrigerator. Is it a welcome drink? Water at room temperature in the refrigerator. .. .. There is no ice, so you can't drink cold food at this hotel. I have no choice but to buy it on a vending machine. The shower is an old type that has to adjust the temperature by itself separately from hot water and water curan. I can't stop it once, so I inevitably leave the shower out. Please note that if you twist either faucet, it will become water for a moment for some reason. Amenity is only toothbrush and razor. There are no towels or sponges to wash your body. There was a hairbrush and bath salt at the front desk. The room has a filter coffee for one person and stick green tea. The dryer has a normal wind power. It is convenient because there are many outlets and are located in the wash basin, bedside, walls and counters. The bed-embedded alarm clock rang early in the morning. I want you to reset it when cleaning. Parking is free and I think it's okay if it's for sleeping.

Convenient hotel in front of JR Ogura station north exit. It is one of the oldest hotels in JR Kyushu Hotel, and there is a part that the room facilities are obsolete, but the room is cleaned and the renovation seems to have been done, and there is a feeling of cleanliness. The accommodation fee is also cheap in front of the station. There was no noise in the next room which tended to be in a cheap hotel, and it was possible to spend comfortably. From the room, the Shinkansen platform was able to be seen, and if the ear was clear, the bell of the departure was heard, so it was good as a railway lover. I think it is cheaper to stay here even if you pay transportation costs because the hotel fee in Hakata is high. (If you make a net reservation, you can use the Hakata-Ogura limited Express seat (the same amount of free seats) １４７０ yen) And the happy thing is that breakfast is free. There are some parts that are difficult to say that the menu is substantial, but I think it is enough because it is a free breakfast. Chocolate croissant and coffee were delicious. The staff is also good and I want to use it after the next time.

The 1st room allocated to us had a bad stench which smelled like sewage, so we immediately went back down to the reception desk and inform about the stench and requested for a room change which the staff quickly obliged. The 2nd room was okay without any noticeable stench. The manager also promptly went to the 1st room to check on the stench we reported. Compared to the other hotels we stayed in, this particular hotel had an odd smell, somewhat like stale air mixed in with old carpet smell and old heating system smell which was noticeable along the hallway leading to the rooms. The not so fresh air could be due to poor ventilation system or age of the building. The hotel is very huge with lots of rooms so requires one to walk quite a fair bit especially if your rooms are not located near the lift lobby. Coin laundromat was not easy to locate for the 1st time as it was located very far down the corridor from the lift lobby and had only a tiny black signage which was hard to see in the dimly lit corridor. Hotel location was superb as it was within the JR station compound with plenty of shops around.

The hotel is old. But the room is clean. The location is convenient. Near the JR train station. There is a parking space. But I don't like the elevator parking space. After parking, I can't take the object back in the car again.

I was able to stay comfortably. The entrance and front desk of the hotel were new and clean. When I went to the front desk to leave my luggage before check-in, I was told that there would be a lot of people who would like to leave their luggage, so if it's okay with you, you can go to a vacant room first and stay there. I was able to check in 2 hours before arrival, which was very helpful. The main building has a conspicuous oldness of the room, but there is a feeling of cleanliness. There was mold that could not be completely removed due to the oldness of the bath, but it did not bother me so much. There was no temperature setting for the air conditioning, and it was a type that you could choose with a dial for strength, but I was able to control the coolness properly and it was comfortable. Personally, I was happy that the provided body soap and shampoo were quite good and my hair didn't get frizzy. I was exhausted from the event and had to extend my checkout time by 2 hours, but the cleaning staff were very pleasant and the front desk staff was very polite and I was able to stay comfortably.

This hotel's cp value is super super high. First of all, the room is very large. It is the largest one I have ever lived in Japan. Then it is very clean and provides water. It is really good and cheap.

The sports bicycle was kept by the front desk. I said that the room would be small in the atmosphere, so I think it is possible to store in the room even when it is crowded. The bath was wide and relaxed. There is also a coin laundry and convenience stores are adjacent and convenient for cycling.
