There is a public bus not far from the hotel, and it takes one hour to get back to Kitami. There are buses from Kitami to Onkenyu. You can take the bus from the bus terminal next to JR Kitami Station. There are five or six buses a day. Would go again. The key is that the hot springs are of good quality and the town is quiet with few people.

I stayed here to relax over the New Year holidays. Great bath, delicious food, friendly staff. I was able to drink as much wine as I wanted in the relaxing space reserved for guests. I was so happy. I have no complaints. It was a great place to stay.

I stayed here as part of a group tour. The room was relatively clean. When I entered the room, the futon was already laid out. The bathroom in the room I stayed in smelled like sewage. (It was quite a strong smell.) Dinner was a half-buffet style. Breakfast was good. The place was spacious and had a wide variety of dishes. The large communal bath was good. It was spacious, and the changing room was the largest of any ryokan I've stayed at. There were no convenience stores nearby, so if you want to buy alcohol or snacks, you'll have to use the shop inside the ryokan.

Is it okay to divide the price course and choose either? The hot water is the best in the bath, but I feel unsatisfactory just because there are many bathtubs. The room has been renovated and is clean, but it is hot even when the heating is turned off, and it is not convenient to charge your smartphone. I would like the people involved to research more reputable accommodation facilities and bathing facilities and make them better hotels.
