Very nice hotel

Enjoyed the stay - beautiful place - the food value wasn’t great and the beer prices a little stiff…

There weren't many foreign tourists. The quality of the Japanese staff at the counter varied, from very good to average. The public facilities were excellent. Very clean. There were private hot springs. The scenery was very beautiful.

The accommodation experience was fantastic! 👏👏👏 A hotel I'd want to visit year after year! The hotel boasts a luxurious and grand design. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby offer stunning views, and there's complimentary coffee ☕️ and drinks 🥤, allowing you to linger and admire the scenery. The view of Lake Hibari from outside the hotel is breathtaking… (Tickets are only 1000 yen with the hotel, highly recommended – a truly wonderful lake cruise experience!) Walking into the Goshikinuma (Five-Colored Pond) in the mountains is also breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel's open-air baths offer both lake and mountain views, making for a wonderful onsen experience. ♨️

The service was good. The large public bath was a bit far. There were massage chairs on the annex side (I forgot if they were free). Dinner was plentiful with many varieties; the soft serve was delicious. We also encountered a sale of apples delivered directly from the orchard outside the restaurant—200 yen each, incredibly fresh, crisp, and sweet. The Five-Colored Pond is quite close by.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all my questions in detail. The entire Nekoma Palace Hotel is designed like a palace, with a tranquil environment and impeccable cleanliness. It boasts a luxurious lobby, multiple viewing areas on each floor offering stunning vistas, and private indoor and outdoor hot springs for guests (I was always alone, like having my own private bath). I also participated in a snow hiking activity and experienced the snowy wonderland. While the breakfast and dinner buffets weren't the best among other hot spring hotels in the same category, I found them very good. The food was delicious and the variety was ample. During my four-night stay, although we encountered a blizzard and couldn't go outside, enjoying coffee in the luxurious palace lobby, soaking in the hot springs, and having lunch at the coffee shop was truly relaxing, washing away all my fatigue and stress. I will definitely come back next year! ♡

The quiet ecology of deep mountains, dense forests, lakes, and open-air bathing are a wonderful time in life. The food was great and did not disappoint. The room was very big. I will come back for vacation if I have the chance. There is also a ski resort next to it 🎿⋯⋯

Very nice hotel. Right next to the Colorful Forest. Very quiet and classy. Also very close to the ski slopes. The breakfast and dinner buffets are very good. It was said that children cannot be accommodated, but I still saw someone checking in.

How should I put it? The soup is just average.

There is a station connection. You can clearly find the shuttle bus as soon as you leave the train station. It is very convenient. After arriving at the hotel, the service staff immediately came to receive you. They were very considerate and tried their best to assist with the relevant needs raised. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It’s clean and tidy. If you don’t have any other outdoor itineraries, the hotel has all the facilities and is suitable for hanging out all day long!

The hotel facilities were excellent, with a high-end feel, and the rooms were beautiful. Dinner was a buffet. The hotel has two outdoor hot springs; soaking in them on a snowy day while looking at the snow-capped mountains and frozen lake would have been incredibly romantic. The hotel staff were very professional, friendly, and polite.
