"When I first arrived I was quite disappointed that my room didn't look much at all like the photos on the listing. My one recommendation is that this is updated so that people have appropriate expectations... However, I could not help but enjoy my stay here. Overall the hotel felt exceptionally good value, laundry was done for me and I had access to a scooter. Breakfast tea and coffee all included as well. Xiaoming is also a fantastic and attentive host, who seems to look after all his guests well."

"Arrived at the hotel quickly by taxi from Guilin Station in the evening. After checking in, I went for a walk, and the night view of the Sun and Moon Pagodas was beautiful. The next day, I walked to Elephant Trunk Hill, which was very nice. The rice noodles recommended by the front desk were delicious and very close to the hotel. The room was also good and very clean. Connecting my phone to Bluetooth to listen to music was also great. All that to say, the service attitude was really excellent, making me feel very comfortable. I usually don't give 5 stars, but the service here is truly exceptional. [Full of energy] Lobby's freshly ground coffee, unlimited refills & takeaway: It was great to slowly enjoy coffee while waiting for my friends to wake up in the morning. [Sweet & Soothing] Lobby's self-service welcome fruit tea & floral tea & tea: Drinking a cup of tea upon check-in felt a bit like coming home."

"This hotel is definitely one of the most satisfying I've ever stayed in. It truly feels like a home away from home. Every single detail, from check-in to check-out, was handled perfectly and with great care. The room was clean, comfortable, and tidy, and having access to VIP movie screenings on the projector was a great touch, like having your own private cinema. The service was thoughtful and attentive; the staff would stand up, smile, and greet us politely and enthusiastically every time we entered or left the lobby. The location and environment are also excellent, very close to the scenic spots. Fubo Hill and Diecai Hill are right across the street, offering stunning views of Guilin's landscapes. The air quality is great, although it's the dry season now, so the Li River doesn't have much water, but that doesn't detract from the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend it; staying here is an excellent choice."

"For this price point, this Hotel is amazing. Don’t go in there and expect luxury. What you get is a good night sleep and that’s it. Room was somewhat cold and AC remote didn’t work, but I didn’t bother asking for batteries. Shower pressure is on the weaker side. You get a big bed, but a tiny table. Shower Gel and Shampoo were present, but no soap, so I did do with Shower Gel. There were some traces of mold, but not really something that chased me out of the door. There were no strong odors and you get 2 free bottles of water. Wifi had a little of problems as the instructions and the actual PW are not up-to-date. So ask for the Wifi PW at the front desk. It’s in walking distance to the 2 Rivers and 4 Lakes Scenic Area as well as the Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. And with the electric bikes nearly everywhere, you can reach Reed Flute Cave in 20 minutes. As I didn’t prepare enough, I didn’t manage to visit the the rice terraces, but they are the least impressive this time of year. So the regret is not to overwhelming."

"Highly responsive and well catered to our needs and requirements. Would recommend to anyone thinking of finding an accommodation in the area. Front desk was very helpful with all our queries. Around 15 mins drive to main city areas, so not super central but Didi in the area is very convenient, had no issue to get a Didi at any time."

"I came for the Guilin Marathon, and the starting point was just a 5-minute walk from here. The hotel is right by the ancient city gate and Rong Lake, so the environment is very pleasant. The rooms are in a renovated residential building down an alley, and the landlady is very welcoming. There are several laundry rooms on the 4th floor, which was super convenient for washing clothes after the race. The room was neat and clean, and having competed in many cities, I can say this price offers excellent value for money. The only minor issue was a mosquito that flew in through the bathroom window at night; I'd suggest installing screens and providing mosquito repellent tablets."

"Highly recommend this hotel! First off, the location is fantastic – it's super close to Elephant Trunk Hill, and there are tons of great restaurants nearby, which is really convenient. The hotel environment is also lovely, with the Peach Blossom River (a tributary of the Li River) right outside the window. You can enjoy the beautiful riverside scenery through the floor-to-ceiling windows and even clearly see locals fishing from the comfort of your sofa. The room facilities are complete, and there's a big bathtub too. The food at the second-floor restaurant is also quite good. The staff's warmth and enthusiasm really make you feel welcome. The value for money here is outstanding, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guilin."

"Spend your time, wasting it on beautiful things. Push open the courtyard gate, leaving the city's hustle and bustle behind. Slow down, here are rustic sofas, and many books, waiting for you to read a heartwarming book; by the sun-drenched window, brew a cup of aged white tea, and wait for a gentle sunset. By chance, I stumbled upon this guesthouse, and was immediately drawn in. It felt like home, just as my child said, stepping into a comfortable guesthouse is like meeting gentle and elegant people. The breakfast was authentic, and the deliciousness is part of the memory. Highly recommend it to friends!"
