Find Xiamen Hotels with Kitchens

"First off, this isn't about the staff; their work was perfectly fine, their attitudes and everything were great. The environment was impeccable, and the location was excellent, with Gulangyu Island directly across from our sea-view room. If it hadn't been for the room upgrade, I probably wouldn't have found any issues with this stay. I originally booked a Deluxe Sea View Room, but the front desk said it was fully booked. The only remaining room was directly facing the elevator. To get away from the elevator, an Executive Room was the only option, so I chose to upgrade. The Executive Room came with many extra perks (see picture), but seriously, are these so-called 'services' really designed with customer needs in mind? Honestly, if you didn't offer these services, I wouldn't even think about it. But if you're going to offer them, be generous and don't be so stingy. You offer an 80-yuan laundry voucher that can't be stacked, and you can only use 80 yuan per day. For two people, that's not even enough to wash two t-shirts. If a guest only stays for one night, they can't even enjoy this service because clothes have to be dropped off before 8 AM (before check-in) and aren't ready until 6 PM the next evening (check-out is at 12 PM). So, the housekeeping staff directly refused to take our dirty laundry. Free two-hour meeting room, free printing, free phone calls, free computer use—wow! So many freebies!!! Seriously, who uses these nowadays? Then there's the 50-yuan hotel car voucher. A single ride starts at 260 yuan, even if you're going less than 5 km, and it's only for destinations within the island. Isn't giving out this 50-yuan voucher just annoying? Oh, and there's a 128-yuan massage voucher, for massages that start at 400 yuan. Either you generously offer a proper, genuinely useful free service that everyone would use, like a free airport transfer, a free laundry service, or a free massage, etc., or just don't offer anything at all. People who can afford executive floors aren't looking for these petty discounts. But it's really quite irritating to list so many things that 99% of people won't use. And your executive lounge – hardly anyone goes up there anyway. The juices are all concentrated; they're not even willing to offer freshly squeezed. They claim it's available 'all day'. When checking out, I thought since it was a weekend and occupancy was high, I didn't want to inconvenience subsequent guests. Even though I could have extended my check-out, I decided not to, and just planned to go to the executive lounge to wait for my high-speed train for about an hour after regular check-out. I was refused. There's nothing in the executive lounge during the day anyway, just a few bottles of water. I wasn't some regular floor guest trying to sneak in; why couldn't I even sit in the executive lounge for a bit???? So then I decided to just extend my check-out, and they reluctantly granted it, citing high occupancy. I was speechless. I stayed for three nights and only went to the 26th floor once. I really don't understand who benefits from all these 'rules' and 'freebies' you've set up. For guests planning to travel here, setting aside these 'additional services' of the executive floor, everything else is pretty good. If you book an executive floor, remember to check in before 6 PM on the first day, and when checking out, strongly insist on a late check-out until 2 PM! Oh, and if you order takeout, it's best to have the delivery rider wait for you in the lobby and pick it up yourself. Otherwise, they won't be allowed into the lobby and will put your food in a locker, which then requires you to register, log in, enter a password, personal information, and a bunch of other messy stuff first. Their robots only deliver the hotel's own food."

"For this Xiamen trip, after a two-night stay at Indigo Xiamen Harbour, I moved to Hilton Xiamen Panji for another two nights. While my experience at the previous hotel was quite a letdown, this one was a delightful surprise. The hotel's location is exceptionally strategic. Its lobby offers direct access to its own commercial complex, Panji Center, as well as Lanhualu Station on Metro Line 1. Panji Center itself boasts an excellent selection of dining options, and popular destinations like The MixC and SM Plaza are just two metro stops away. Zhongshan Road Walking Street and the Botanical Garden are also easily accessible, just a 30-minute metro ride from the hotel. The breakfast selection is extensive, and both the amenities and cleanliness are perfectly decent. The prime location and excellent surrounding facilities alone make it well worth the room rate."

"Excellent stay! The room was spacious, bright, and clean, offering great value for money. The hotel's service was outstanding; they provided free printing and even refrigerated my medication. The laundry room, located right across from the front desk on the first floor, had three washers and three dryers. I forgot my clothes in the washer overnight, and to my surprise, they had already been dried when I checked in the morning. Upon entering the room, I found the central air conditioning already running. There's also a gym equipped with fitness machines. The breakfast was typical for an economy hotel, with fresh and reliable ingredients, and the eggs were quite large. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm near Xiamen North Station."

"After researching online, I decided to stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel, and it definitely didn't disappoint. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was spacious, and the view was fantastic. After a leisurely breakfast, it was only a 10-minute walk to the Dongdu Ferry Terminal. Plus, having a subway station right downstairs made all my subsequent travels incredibly convenient. Honestly, the hotel's Chinese restaurant was even better than many outside. I thought their Ginger Duck (Jiang Mu Ya) tasted more authentic than what I found elsewhere. The crispy squab and all the fried rice options were also incredibly tasty. To top it off, they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet for just 118 RMB per person, which is fantastic value, especially considering even a simple bowl of noodles in Xiamen can cost 30 RMB. Moreover, the hotel bed was exceptionally comfortable. As someone who often struggles with sleep, my sleep quality literally doubled. In short, the Pan Pacific Hotel greatly enhanced my overall travel experience. It was absolutely fantastic! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen."

"The overall service is good. It is very close to the high-speed rail station and it is very convenient to eat downstairs. If you need any service, you can contact customer service through WeChat. It is an economical and affordable accommodation experience."

"This was a family trip with my parents and children. Initially, everyone wasn't too keen on a B&B, especially a loft, but I insisted because I found it beautiful. In the end, everyone really enjoyed their stay. They probably gave us a room close to the glass door and lobby because I'd requested one that was convenient for getting around. I wasn't really thrilled about its location, but I was too lazy to ask for a change. Luckily, the room itself was very quiet; I couldn't hear any outside noise (perhaps the soundproofing was good, or maybe the other guests were just considerate). The B&B is quite close to Zhongshan Road and not far from Xiamen North Station – just a short walk away. On the 7th floor, there are two washing machines and two dryers, which were incredibly useful. Xiamen is hot, and if we'd waited to wash our clothes back home, they'd have started to smell. Being able to clean them was a huge plus. Oh, and the terrace is beautiful. The front desk staff were all very friendly and always greeted us warmly whenever we passed by. The room is standard for two people (just a small suggestion, I don't think this makes much sense – surely most people booking this room wouldn't be just two, it should be for 3-4 people). When we needed extra items, the front desk staff were very enthusiastic about providing them. Later, during daily cleaning, they even set out supplies for four people. Breakfast was also for two people. We saved up, so over four days, we had two breakfasts at the B&B. Since we were on vacation, we definitely wanted to try food outside as well. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the environment was nice and looked clean. After all, it's not a big hotel, so it's not going to have a huge spread, but we were still happy with what was offered. This was my first time staying in a loft, fulfilling a long-held wish, and in such a beautiful room, which made me quite happy."

"Attending a concert in Xiamen, I chose the Wyndham for its proximity to the Olympic Sports Center. A taxi ride was about 30 yuan, but to my pleasant surprise, the hotel offered a shuttle service! This saved me the awkwardness of battling crowds for a taxi after the concert. The hotel is a bit older, but the facilities are well-maintained, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. It's a small pity I didn't get to experience the beautiful pool. A huge thanks to Kelly at the front desk for upgrading me to a room with a fantastic view – I had a panoramic vista of Wuyuan Bay! 🥹"

"I chose this hotel near the airport for the Mayday concert, and the price was an absolute surprise! It's so close to the airport, which was super convenient for catching an early morning flight after the concert. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was fresh and odorless, the A/C worked great, and the soundproofing was surprisingly good – I got such a comfortable rest. The front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful; staying here was both hassle-free and heartwarming."

Environment: The public area on the first floor is very convenient for waiting for transportation or eating takeout. It's about a 30-minute drive from all the main attractions, which is very convenient. Also quite close to the airport. Service: The service is meticulous and attentive, with prompt responses."

"The directions given are for taking taxi and if you’re driving, you have to park near the residence lift lobby. Parking is on the expensive side. Location and view of the residence is good. But the registration procedure for foreigners is tedious especially for huge group. I hope the owner can make things easier by just taking photo of our documents instead of filling the complicated form with facial recognition required. Condition of the residence is acceptable and the operator has helped to topup the towel and slippers as they did not give sufficient amount initially."
