"A wonderful hotel! I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the hotel staff for their warmth, hospitality, and assistance in organizing our trip! 1. We were met at the airport and taken to the train station on a free comfortable transfer. 2. There is a free transfer to the National Park there and back. 3. Delicious breakfast: steamed buns, jiaozi, eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables - and all this with a stunning view of the mountains! 4. The territory of a hotel is much larger than it looks on the photo, very well-groomed and interesting. I recommend to plan 1 day to just relax at the hotel! 5. The hotel has a small cute pool with a view of the mountains. 6. The hotel staff confidently speaks English and helped us with literally every little thing! They bought tickets, planned every day of our stay, helped with routes and gave their recommendations. They answered in the chat literally instantly on any question! They were worried and wrote to us if we stayed somewhere late. 7. Free tea tasting of local tea in English was very interesting! You can buy local tea and pottery in the store. 8. During our stay, we counted 3 dogs, 7 cats, 3 kittens and 2 puppies that live on the territory of the hotel. All animals are very friendly and gave this place an incredibly warm and homely atmosphere. 9. Laundry is free, we used it several times, everything is great! 10. You can order dinner at any time. All the food is delicious, home-cooked and made with love! 11. The room was wonderful and very spacious with a large bed, great pillows and very soft linens. 12. We left the hotel very early, so the staff brought us breakfast to go. It was very nice! Thank u so much!!! I’ll really miss this place!"

"Trying to find the hotel was the slightly difficult part unless you know what to look for, but they do have a big poster on the entrance at street level. The apartment was lovely and light. The reception staff were very helpful and also helped us buy tickets for Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Very good location close to local shops. Do bring ear plugs though as during morning you can hear the traffic below. Would still recommend them. Good view from the room. Catch a didi to the intersection of the Jiefang Road and Yingbin Road. About 2-3 mins walk from there to building entrance. Floor 17A."

"We loved our stay at the hotel. The staff did so much for us and a good stay in the national park that the review will be longer than usual. The rooms are super luxurious. The view from the hotel into the national park is amazing when waking up or for sunrise after spending the day in the park. All windows have mosquito nets, so during the night you can leave the windows open and enjoy the sounds of nature. We had breakfast and also stayed for dinner. Both were tasty and freshly cooked. We have seen that the hotel also has a huge garden for growing vegetables. Regarding the location to the park and after spending some days in the park, the south-east gate is the best for visiting the park as it is not very crowded and it is located in the center of the park with connections to all areas and very fast access to the bailong elevator. The staff helped us by choosing the right tickets and explained everything in detail and gave individual recommendations depending on our wished hike length. The communication was super easy, because they have a really good voice translation device, so that you can have a normal conversation with everyone and not only in English-Chinese. Every language works. I really liked it, because you can have normal conversations. So when visiting Zhangjiajie I highly recommend choosing the south east gate and this hotel."

"The location of this inn is absolutely unbeatable! It’s just steps away from Xibu Street, which makes it super convenient to go out for food and drinks in the evening. The Forest Park’s main gate is only a few minutes’ drive away, which saved us a lot of travel time—perfect for exploring Zhangjiajie with ease. What really stood out was the service here. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. They not only gave us detailed suggestions for sightseeing routes but also helped us book discounted attraction tickets. Whenever we had questions while in the park, we could always reach out to Xiao Du! That kind of thoughtful, concierge-like service made our whole trip relaxing and stress-free—no need to worry about planning or potential pitfalls. Even though the inn is located in a busy area, it’s quiet and comfortable inside, with uniquely decorated exotic vibes. They also offer complimentary parking and laundry/dryer services, which is super convenient for those driving or needing fresh clothes after long days of touring."

"A Must-Stay for Park Visitors! We had a fantastic stay thanks to the incredibly friendly and cooperative staff. This hotel is perfectly located right near the Zhangjiajie East Gate and only a 5 minute walk from the bus station. The service here is a game-changer. The English-speaking staff assisted us with ticket booking and even provided a discount! They are great at helping with navigation; their hand-drawn map covering all the key points on Zhangjiajie and Tianmen Mountain was essential. Plus, the breakfast noodles were delicious—the perfect fuel for a long day of hiking. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie—the convenient location and amazing service make exploring effortless."

"This B&B has not been open for long. The advantage is that it is very close to the Zhangjiajie scenic area, and the boss is very nice. If you pay, he can help with pick-up and drop-off, and you can also eat here, provided that everyone communicates and discusses it. Facilities: There is a yard outside the hotel room. The yard has two areas. There is a swing on the slope and a row of roses. It will be very beautiful in April and May. Down the slope: There is a barbecue shed with two tables underneath, which can accommodate more than a dozen people at the same time. Next to the barbecue shed are a lotus pond and a fish pond, and at the other end there is a water lily pond. There is a large terrace on the third floor with an infinity pool. After visiting the scenic area, you can watch the sunrise, make tea, watch the clouds☁️, and look at the mountain view in the distance on the terrace. The front desk is a restaurant, which is spacious and open. The room is very large, much larger than the average hotel room, and almost every room has daylight and faces the sun, and the room is dry and clean. The bed, floor and ceiling are all log color. The ceiling is decorated with logs in bright and soft tones. The pillows, quilts, towels and bath towels are all super dry and soft. The room is well lit and ventilated, without any damp odor. The biggest advantage here is that the room and items are dry, without any trace of moisture or mold. This is very different from many hotels and B&Bs, and the quilt smells like it has been dried in the sun. The windows were open, and the white gauze curtains in the entire room were swaying in the breeze, creating a leisurely and comfortable feeling. The bathroom is also very clean and has no odor. The only thing that needs to be improved is the hair dryer. I suggest the boss buy some high-power hair dryers. The small hair dryer in the room is the old-style hotel room hair dryer, fixed on the wall, with low power, and it takes half a day to blow dry your hair. It can be seen that the boss has put a lot of thought into maintaining it well, and it is worth coming back next time."

"The service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly thoughtful. They enthusiastically recommended local dishes that were absolutely delicious! They also assisted with arranging transfers to and from the station and booking tickets for local attractions. The hotel's location is superb; we had a direct view of Tianmen Cave right from our window. The room decor was simple yet elegant, and the owner even upgraded our room type for free! The shared washing machine was also very convenient. Breakfast consisted of noodles and side dishes, offering a distinct local flavor with very generous portions."

"After climbing the mountain for two days, I decided to stay here. In the morning, the chickens and birds were singing, and there was a special rural atmosphere. It was rare to live so well. Although it was relatively expensive, it was well managed among B&Bs of this level. There was no sense of being old, and there were cats and dogs as receptionists. The experience was very good. The Chinese restaurant was a former farmhouse. Many people came to eat, and the dishes were very well cooked. It was the most satisfying meal of the entire trip. The breakfast was also quite rich, but the service was slightly inferior. Some young waiters were a bit dull, although they could feel the sincerity. It can be seen that the entire park has a huge investment, which feels better than the picture. The highlands are scattered a bit like a resort. I was very satisfied. There were many people during the last May Day holiday, and the village committee secretary still sent me to the station hahaha."

"Friends who come to Zhangjiajie recommend staying at Xinwu Mountain Residence. The swing of the small courtyard is swaying with the wind, the green grass is green, and the climbing tiger on the wall has already revealed the smell of autumn. When entering the courtyard, there is a small book table on the left hand side. When you are interested, you can swing your pen and ink. The wall is full of pen and ink paintings. The overall design is full of strong book fragrance, presumably the boss should be a elegant gentleman! The homestay is located halfway up the mountain, the surrounding environment is wide, the clouds and mist, the mountains stand tall, like a paradise, the room is clean and tidy, warm and comfortable, the breakfast rice noodles made by Auntie are delicious, the dishes are all grown by Auntie herself, native, people are also easy-going and enthusiastic, there is a feeling of home, people remember, I want to come again next time!"

Waking up, I was treated to breathtaking natural beauty of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park right from my bed, truly feeling immersed in nature – it was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. ## Dining: The restaurant offered fresh, home-style stir-fries, prepared very hygienically. It's particularly great for families with children, as the food is very kid-friendly. Everything is cooked fresh to order right after you return from your day out! 👍 ## Service: Both the owner and staff were incredibly friendly. We'd often sit together and chat in the evenings after a day of exploring. They also provided excellent travel advice and helped plan optimal routes, which saved us a lot of hassle and helped us avoid unnecessary detours! 👍"
