"Relatively near to Hakata station but nice and quiet, away from the buzz. Although they were doing renovations to the lobby, they kept disruptions to the minimal. Room was great, had ample space for things and to move around. You can hear the trains even with window closed, just just very slightly, overall a great stay!"

"The location is very convenient, close to Hakata Station, but not directly on the main road, so it's quiet. On the first floor, there's a microwave, washing machine, and dryer, and each room has a refrigerator, making it a great choice for business trips or travel. The lobby on the first floor also has a coffee machine for free use, and tea bags and disposable wooden combs are available at a self-service counter. Overall, it's very good."

"We had reserved parking prior to our arrival, though it’s not hard to find other hourly-charge parking next to the building, and it’s much cheaper compare to park inside of the building. The location is not very friendly to travelers who with public transportation, but that made the hotel much affordable compares to other hotels near tenjin or Hakata station. The room is nice enough."

"The room was clean and tidy, exactly as pictured in the hotel's promotional materials. We were a family of three, and upon check-in, the sofa by the window had already been made into a bed. The hotel's location is great, making it easy to get around, and it's very close to both a park and a shopping mall. The breakfast was also good."

This is my first time in Japan, and I have chosen to visit the city of Fukuoka on a special trip.I have selected the LYF Tenjin Hotel in Fukuoka for our stay. "Not many hotels were available as we decided to visit Fukuoka just a few days before departure. The good: 1. Very spacious room with two big beds and one sofa bed. Still have space to walk even after putting down 3 big pieces of luggage. 2. Room includes almost all facilities you want including washer, movable clothes hanger, electric stove and microwave oven. 3. Separate toilet and bathing room and are clean. 4. Just about 10-11 minutes walk to Hakata station. 5. Unmanned hotel but staff can be reached with a pad inside the room and they are quick to respond. They even answered my emails during late night hours and on Sunday. The bad: 1. Hotel right in front of a main street so many street racers / bikers noise can be heard at night. 2. Unmanned hotel so check in can be difficult for people unfamiliar with computers / smart phones usage. 3. Two large cockroaches seen at hotel lobby one night but this just a minor problem as long as they are not inside the room! Overall a very good accommodation at this price range."

"Traveling solo in Fukuoka, the hotel's location was decent. The room size was moderate, not huge but good for Japan. Transportation wasn't as convenient as I'd imagined, though Tenjin and Canal City Hakata were indeed within walking distance, even if it was a bit tiring. The biggest plus is the hotel's ground-floor cafe – their summer shaved ice and crepes were absolutely delicious! There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, so foodies should definitely stay here. On another note, both the front desk and cafe staff were very stylish, all young, handsome guys and pretty girls. The short-haired girl at the front desk particularly reminded me of Riisa Naka (Gou-chan), very cute! Overall, I highly recommend this place for solo travelers or couples."

"The room was very spacious, and we were extremely happy with it. It came equipped with a washing machine and a microwave, and the fridge was also a good size. The sofa was very comfortable, making it perfect for two people. My only minor suggestion would be for a slightly larger bed."

"Spacious, good for family. Takes 10 mins to walk to Hakata Station. Quite area. Comfortable beds. Need to pay attention to the email they sent you, as you need the passcode to enter the building. Unmanned check in, make sure you know what you are doing and take a screenshot of the passcode for your room."

"I came to Fukuoka for a city walk, and here's my review of the hotel: 1. **Location & Transportation:** The hotel's location is excellent! It's super convenient, with two subway entrances nearby. When coming from the airport, we took the Hakozaki Line, and the exit led directly to the hotel without needing to cross the road. For the return trip to the airport, the Kuko Line stop was just across the street. Very easy! The hotel is situated in Nakasu. The Ichiran Ramen main store is right next door – that was our first meal in Fukuoka, and there was even a queue outside. From the hotel, it's a short walk (3-4 minutes) to Tenjin Central Park, 15-20 minutes to Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall, and within a 30-minute walk to Canal City, Nakasu Yatai (food stalls), Nakasu walking street, Kushida Shrine, Tocho-ji Temple, and more. For further sights like Fukuoka Castle Ruins, Ohori Park, and Fukuoka Tower, it's just a few subway stops away. It's also very convenient to take the train from Nishitetsu Tenjin Station (South) to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine (with a transfer at Futsukaichi). Hakata Station is only two subway stops away. 2. **Nearby Food:** There are so many great food options around the hotel! I highly recommend a few must-try spots: Ichiran Ramen (main store), Yoshizuka Unagi (main store) – about a 20-minute walk along the river, and Shokudo Hikari (for set meals and sashimi). 3. **Hotel Room:** The room was a bit small, but it was clean and tidy. Towels were changed daily during our three-night stay. The window faced the outer wall of the adjacent building. There was no desk and no complimentary bottled water. The cabinet (as shown in picture 2) was useful for placing items like cameras, power banks, and charging cables. Check-in time at the hotel is after 3 PM, but you can drop off your luggage if you arrive early. The staff were patient and professional during check-in – thumbs up! If you're coming to Fukuoka for a city walk and to enjoy the local cuisine, I'd definitely recommend considering this hotel."
